The food is amazing! They are Penny pinchers here for some items and the service is sort of lacking but the food is amazing!

I just spent $40 on salt…. I told the server. She didn’t care….. it’s not about the $. I worked in food service for years. And it was sad telling them how awful this food was.

So delish I forgot to get a pic! I used to live nearby and would come here often for tacos al carbon- I don't get the low stars- this place is just as I remember! Flavorful tacos, good bean and rice and the salsa and chips are fresh as usual! Love this spot! Check it out! And the service was stellar as well!

This is really good Mexican food and the right prices. I recommend it as a place to checkout while looking for your favorite Denver Mexican restaurant. The only thing I wish was different was all the yellow interior.

I enjoy lunch 1-2 times a week. My faves are the tamale plate and the Enchiladas Rancheros.I ordered a dozen tamales wth green chili, rice and beans for Christmas Eve. Excellent! A single waitress provides great service no matter how busy it is.

I really used to like this place. I moved to the Southlands area several months ago, prior to living here I went to the Havana location for years. I was excited when I learned there was a location close by. Between dine in and take out I would eat at this restaurant 2-3 times a week. There are better places but the food is pretty consistent and their prices are reasonable. I recently had a to go order and my order was not completed properly. When I asked to have the order completed properly the manager became very confrontational and I was told I would need to pay more money. I refused to pay more money for something that was supposed to included in my order and ultimately left w/o the food and w/o paying because I was not going to pay for an incomplete order and I was not going to pay more to have the order completed. Shortly after I left the restaurant I received a Voicemail on my phone from a man named Mario. Mario claimed to be the manager. Rather than calling to ask what occurred and how the situation could be remedied, Mario told me I can not come back to his restaurant. If Mario is reading this, don't worry Mario I had no intentions of going back after this experience. Your unprofessional voicemail reassured my decision to not come back and ensured I'd leave this review so people know how poorly your restaurant is managed. The management at this restaurant is terrible and the service has gone downhill. There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area and you'll be better served visiting them.

Your basic Mexican restaurant, in many ways. From the okay food to the lack of service, this place has a bit to be desired. There are signs placed EVERYWHERE about the charge for chips and salsa, which is really strange and takes away from what ambience the place had. Not terrible but definitely not amazing either.

Waitress didn't come to see if we needed something, I didn't like the flautas combination, but I didn't have time to wait for a replacement order. The waitresses attended others, but not us.

I've had the breakfast burritos here, and beef burritos, but the one time I ordered Fajitas, for which they are supposed to be so well known, I was sorely disappointed. First, I ordered shrimp, and received beef, which I didn't discover until I got my to-go order home. Second, the beef was very tough and unappetizing. Third, when I posted a complaint on their FB page about the experience, they asked to confirm which location this was at, and after I told them I never heard anything back. Sadly, I am now frequenting Mexican restaurants farther away rather than return here.
