This was my first time trying Las Tortugas and unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered a breakfast burrito, a Norteña Torta, and some churros. While the burrito and churros were just okay, the real disappointment was the Torta.
According to the menu, the Norteña Torta should come with refried beans, tomatoes, onions, avocados, mayo, jalapeños or chipotle, chorizo, steak, and melted cheese. What I actually received was just chorizo on a piece of bread—no cheese, no steak, no beans, no veggies, no sauces—literally none of the listed ingredients besides the chorizo.
I paid $15 for what was essentially meat and bread. If this had been an in-store order, I would have asked for a refund on the spot. Unfortunately, I placed this order online for takeout, so I didn’t realize the issue until I got home.
This felt like a complete rip-off, and I do not plan on returning. Very disappointing.

Been coming here for ages, gotta get asada with chipotle sauce AND jalapeño (they only ask if you want one or the other), but man they're the best Ive had around these parts.
Yeah they could do better with the meat sometimes, but I love the tortas regardless

One time was definitely enough. They are the cheetah hut of Mexican sandwiches. Sloppy piled sandwiches with little flavor,pickled jalapeños little avacado too much cheese and breded meat.naw this ain't it! I mean wasn't horrible but wasn't good either

I absolutely love this place if you are looking to find a torta look no further I am just finding out that they have more than one location so I’m going to be checking those out, but I love this location. The women behind the counter make you feel so at home always so kind and patient their menu is so good it keeps you stumped on what you want often changing your mind more than once because it all looks so good, please stop on by and check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Almost forgot they also will hand make your Agua Fresca to order
Parking: Parking is a little odd, but there is tons of parking on the side of Dairy Queen. You just have to take a small walk around the corner two stores.
If I could give this place zero stars I would: I went a week ago on August twelfth, and the way we were treated was unacceptable! The girl cooking the cake threw the spatula like twice and instead of going to wash it she kept using it! When I called the cashier's attention instead of apologizing or trying to do something to remedy the situation: they got upset and made me pay for another cake when I went to tell them something... I don't recommend them! Don't go here, their customer service is terrible!
