It’s was a beautiful dim restaurant with subtle music. It was not busy on a Saturday night. The server was informative and helpful. Service was fast.

Tried Leezakaya with friends and here are my thoughts.
The decor and ambiance is very nice with several areas for tables. There is a bar and a sushi bar where patrons can sit as well.
The food is Japanese pub style with sushi and other traditional items
The less impressive was the service. It took a long time for a server to get our order in (unsure if they were understaffed).
Then the food came out way too quickly as we ordered appetizers and entrees and they didn't give time to finish appetizers before mains were served. This made our table overly crowded. Hopefully they can figure out this for future visits.
The bento box I ordered was very filling.
Next time I'd skip appetizer and just get an entree as the portions were much larger than expected.
There is plenty of parking as they have their own lot and overflow for the strip mall adjacent.

We went here for lunch on the weekend so it was not very busy. I think we were 1 of 4 tables. I hope this place is hopping at night because their food is great!
The sushi was delicious. The Bento box was HUGE! Much larger than we expected and that was a pleasant surprise. The tempura in the bento was not greasy. The tonkotsu ramen was rich and glorious in the best way possible. Overall, I think the food of this place really capture the essence of what they’re trying to achieve with the Japanese pub culture.

very fine dining experience! I am not a huge fan of fish at all, but this place I can make an exception! The quality of the food was beyond amazing. They had a variety of dishes and the sever was more than happy to give guided recommendations. Super happy with everything I ordered and a very nice atmosphere over all.

Their main courses are delicious with a lot of variety and packed with flavor…. And their desserts are better than some Michelin rated restaurants.

Terrible Service and Fraudulent Charge - Avoid This Place
I had the worst dining experience at this restaurant. It took forever for our server to even acknowledge us, and once they finally did, they barely came back to check on us. The most frustrating part? They forgot some of my food. I was patient, but by the time I left, I was incredibly disappointed.
Then, a couple of weeks later, I checked my receipt and discovered they added a $20 tip instead of the $13 I had clearly written. This is completely fraudulent. When I called to address the issue, the manager claimed it was a mistake because they have "so many checks a night and can mix them up." This is just false. We arrived on a Wednesday at 5 PM, and there wasn't another table seated in sight.
I’ve worked in and managed restaurants, so I know how the system works. You close checks as people leave, and you’re literally staring at the receipt when you enter the tip into the POS system. This "mistake" was clearly intentional and absolutely fraudulent, and the manager's dismissive attitude just made things worse. Rather than saying she would have a serious conversation with the server to ensure it doesn’t happen again, she doubled down on her terrible excuse and then belittled me saying “if you really did work in restaurants, you would know this happens.” No, no it does not if you have honest staff and management. The manager refunded my tip (as they should because this is completely unacceptable), but she didn’t even process it correctly, so she had to Zelle me the rest.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Between the awful service and the shady practices of entering a higher tip amount, this place is not worth your time or money. If you do decide to not heed my warning, make sure to save your receipt and double check your bank statement.

We like their food, the service is spotty but a great modern Japanese atmosphere. It's frustrating that they don't seem to care much about the order items ate brought out of the kitchen!

The ambiance of this place was really nice and picturesque. They have giant windows that let in plenty of natural light, and if you happen to be seated facing the mountains, you can see the setting of the sun. The bathrooms are clean, but the faucet is a little tricky. If you hold your hands the usual way when washing them, then the water can splash into your face. But if you hold them with your fingers pointing downwards, then there's less chance for splashback. There's also a little alcove with stairs by the bathrooms with a picture of Mt Fuji and cherry blossoms painted on the wall. I guess it's for pictures or selfies mimicking that you're in Japan?
The food was excellent; a little on the pricey end, but I guess it's to be expected with inflation and premium ingredients. I ordered the Lemon Roll, Toro Uni Wrap, and Mentaiko Creamy Pasta. The Toro Uni Wrap was absolutely exquisite. Both the toro (fatty tuna) and uni (sea urchin) melt in your mouth. The uni is wrapped around a sashimi cut of toro and comes out in 4 pieces. The Lemon Roll was definitely flavorful with some tartness from the lemon juice that is squeezed over the roll. It has salmon on the outside, and crab (possibly imitation) and asparagus on the inside. There are about 8 pieces to this roll. The Mentaiko Pasta comes with spaghetti-like noodles or you can opt for udon for a couple more dollars, a dollop of pollack roe, and heavy cream. The cream was a bit too much for me, but it was still pretty good! I'd definitely come back to try their other options. The bill/check holder is creative and different where they use an old DVD case.

Place is cozy and the food is really good. Got sushi rolls and sashimi and we also got the a5 steak. And the server cooked it for us. Overall spent about $200 for the two of us. Had a great time here and will come again.
