My wife and I went here for a date night and had an excellent dinner.
First off, the building and atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant feels very japanese, but also very spacious and kind of swanky (especially for Aurora).
Secondly, the staff was very attentive and enthusiastic about the food. Our waiter did a great job of balancing taking care of our needs vs. leaving us alone to talk and enjoy or meal.
Thirdly, the quality and freshness of our food was extremely high. I would put leezakaya up against any place in Denver (sushi den, hapa, etc.)in terms of quality and freshness, but the price felt more than fair. We had some rolls, a sashimi plate, a bowl of ramen, a couple pieces of specialty sushi, and a macha tiramasu. Everything came out lightning quick and tasted excellent. I highly recommend the fatty tuna, ramen, and the lemon roll.
Fourth, after such a great meal, I was expecting our bill to be super big, but we paid about $160. Like i said, this felt more than fair!
Overall, with all of the excellent choices of restaurants in Aurora, I think it's hard to be blown away by a restaurant. Leezakaya sets itself apart by having ultra high quality seafood, good prices, and a great atmosphere. Our experience was fantastic and I am excited to go there again!

Delicious sushi etc. I was told they are owned by Sushi Den. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in town! I highly recommend. They have buzzers at the table if you need your waitperson! What a great time we had.

It was our first time here and definitely we will be back! Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and outstanding service. Our water Hiep T was very sweet and friendly. The food was delivered fast and it was tasty! Sushi is fresh and arranged nicely. My husband is not a sushi fan, so he went with stir fry and he loved it! He said, it was the best stir fry he ever had! And check their Fujiyama Photo Boot! I would highly recommend to check this gem of Aurora out! I am soo happy, that we have places like this restaurant that in our area!

It was sooo so good. We had a spontaneous last minute date and enjoyed it more than any planned one. Heip made our experience amazing, he accommodated all our needs, especially since we had a lot of food allergies. EVERY dish was so good and the dirty martini he made is the best one I ever had. Had Bento box, which was large and full of good stuff. Food took a lot longer to arrive than expected, especially since the place wasn't busy.

We ate here for my Husband's bday dinner since we were in Denver. We found that they had a lemon roll that we used to get at a local restaurant where we lived. It was SOO good and nostalgic for he and I. Good so good service and atmosphere as well highly recommend.

It’s was a beautiful dim restaurant with subtle music. It was not busy on a Saturday night. The server was informative and helpful. Service was fast.
Tried Leezakaya with friends and here are my thoughts.
The decor and ambiance is very nice with several areas for tables. There is a bar and a sushi bar where patrons can sit as well.
The food is Japanese pub style with sushi and other traditional items
The less impressive was the service. It took a long time for a server to get our order in (unsure if they were understaffed).
Then the food came out way too quickly as we ordered appetizers and entrees and they didn't give time to finish appetizers before mains were served. This made our table overly crowded. Hopefully they can figure out this for future visits.
The bento box I ordered was very filling.
Next time I'd skip appetizer and just get an entree as the portions were much larger than expected.
There is plenty of parking as they have their own lot and overflow for the strip mall adjacent.

We went here for lunch on the weekend so it was not very busy. I think we were 1 of 4 tables. I hope this place is hopping at night because their food is great! The sushi was delicious. The Bento box was HUGE! Much larger than we expected and that was a pleasant surprise. The tempura in the bento was not greasy. The tonkotsu ramen was rich and glorious in the best way possible. Overall, I think the food of this place really capture the essence of what they’re trying to achieve with the Japanese pub culture.
