This is, in my opinion, the best Mexican food in Denver. I will admit, I am a gringo who bases this review off my favorite dish at any Mexican restaurant - Combo plate with a relleno, burrito and enchilada; but Los Alcatraces is above and beyond anywhere else I have tried.
The green chile has a great lingering heat and flavor to it. The rellenos are perfectly cooked and the cheese and onion enchilada with red sauce is divine.

My favorite place to get smothered burritos and I always pick up a pint of their green chillie
