Maria Empanada - Stanley Marketplace

This place makes some seriously plump empanadas — they’re stuffed to the brim with flavor! Even my 3-year-old gave it a big thumbs up. The dragon fruit drink is a must-try — refreshing and delicious. I also appreciate how, when there’s no line, the staff is busy cleaning to keep the space spotless. There are three tables available if you want to sit and enjoy. Highly recommend!

It was very nice to visit this eatery. Early this morning, we enjoyed empanadas, with spinach, feeling the kids. Enjoyed jurose. We also had the croissant, which was not very light but Andre was very, very kind. In a service. The products were very hot, fresh and tasted good. We enjoyed a visit to the stanley marketplace.This morning

While walking around Stanley I came upon this little cafe. They had a lot of baked goods and COFFEE! They didn’t have any ice coffee but the guy over the counter did me a solid and made a makeshift ice coffee. The cream and tres leches on it made it taste so good. Stop by this place and ask for a tees leches ice coffee. It’s not on the menu but I’m sure they can make one for you.

Tried the Mushroom, Spinach, & Cheese and the Diego (chicken with chimichurri) — both were a miss for me. Super salty, doughy, and no real flavor going on. They really need something fresh like cilantro or traditional Argentinian spices to give them some life. As is, just way too salty and not enjoyable.

We had come to walk around with my friends who visited and I decided to eat at this restaurant for a quick bite.

They were very friendly and attentive! Even opened my bottle for me.

I got a beef and a mushroom empanada as well as a diet cola and pistachio dessert. Loved everything!!! I ended up getting more then I needed but would recommend.

I'd grab a dozen if I wasn't driving around all today 🤤

Great service at the counter! We went for a six pack and tried the Argentina, the Chorizo and the Eggs and Bacon, with two great dipping sauces. All were served fresh and hot in a convenient carry-out box. There was plenty of seating with tables available in the Stanley Marketplace. We will go back!

Bring your pennies. I bought two empanadas and two sauces. It came to $13,01 and I had exactly 13.00 in cash. I had to walk back to Cheluna to get my purse to fish out a penny before the guy would let me take my order. Enserio? I went back to tell the MOD and did nothing.

I expected more. We went at 6 pm on a Friday and the empanadas were a bit stale. Maybe this is a satellite kitchen and I should try the Broadway location. The star was the short bread cookies. Good lord. Those were amazing.

Counter service with very good empanadas. A large selection of fresh warm empanadas and an excellent Torta Español. Fresh squeezed orange juice is available. The coffee is good but only comes in a large size.
