Every year I come to Colorado I always make a stop here. Mason's is just about as authentic as any Chinese dumpling spot in nyc.
I like the traditional pork, chicken or shrimp. I'm not a big fan of fusion for Chinese dumplings. You wouldn't fusion pierogis or raviolis, why do that to pan fried dumplings.

Service is amazing. Our server remembered me from my last visit on memorial day 2024. Makes me feel special! 😋

I’ll start with the fact that the food is good! At least as good as the new Nana’s next door.

But BRO, are you kidding me? This location has fallen off hard. The ceiling leaks over half the tables. There are 6 people working, and maybe one will talk to you the whole time. The music was way too loud, and the 00s horny-hits were skipping like an early Discman.

You now order on your phone, and have to provide a credit card up front. It’s so impersonal and cold and weird. Their website (that, again, you have to use to order) includes links to seven escort websites — photo attached. This is a super charming touch when passing the phone around to all the family members. Their automated system texted me eight times in the hour we were there. Ridiculous.

I remember the excitement years ago when the east side was going to get soup dumplings. Shame they aren’t remaining competitive now that there are other options.

Taste good. Dumplings skin was a bit thick though.

The dumplings were so delicious, and the people were friendly and accommodating. It was noisy, though, and difficult to converse because of that.

Food is amazing, but they are legitimately never open, especially around dinner time.

I adore this spot and it’s such a gem of the neighborhood! They have one of my favorite dishes ever that I crave constantly which is the vegetarian beef bowl. I don’t know how they make the fake meat so dang good but it is bursting with flavor. It is rare to find fake meat dishes but I always deeply appreciate them as a vegetarian. Also love that you can get the delicious bao buns with vegetarian beef or chicken, the chicken is great too. Cute inside and the staff are friendly. My partner loves their non veggie meat options too!

Super delicious! I can see why their pork pan-fried dumplings are their most popular 😋 The house sauce is also really tasty and went well with everything. Very attentive service upon entering! The ordering system is through your phone with the QR codes at each table.

Food is fine, but I don’t prefer having to order via phone, and really don’t prefer being required to provide my phone number.

Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had. 😋 the fake meat orange chicken dish is amazing as well. Really big portions for the price. Great taste no matter what you get.

First let me tell you, food was great! We ordered 5 different things and we liked all except one and that was on our taste not on them. Our “issue” was not food related. They have a weird ordering/checkout system. I actually prefer a “no cellphone policy” when we are eating/sitting at the table. When i asked for a paper menu they refused, telling me the ordering happens through a QR code (yet another table was given paper menus). I do not constantly check my phone when i am eating and sit with company, so i totally missed their texts inquiring if we needed anything else, which made us sort of feel unwelcome. We also had to check out via the QR code which was a bummer as I wanted to pay cash. Maybe we’ll give it another try, but there are many other places to choose from these days as dumplings are super popular.

Staff was very helpful. You order on your phone, open a tab and order more food or drinks and close the tab when you leave. Kind of like a tapas restaurant.
