Previous owner was rude but the new owner is bright and kind person. He tries to serve his customers with the best Korean traditional and modern style of rice cake. I ordered again. I love this place and recommend with 5 stars.

I love this place! I go here to get authentic Korean Kimchi, Raw marinated crab, fish cake and more. Though I don't speak Korean, the customer service is always a great experience and they are very patient with me. Thier facilities are clean and sanitary. I've tasted Kimchi from many places but no one comes close to the flavor you'll get from thier Kimchi. If you're new to Kimchi, try this place first.

Extremely rude owner and their rice cake isn’t good at all either.

I bought a rice cake to make a korean rice soup. I felt something sharp object in my mouth. I spitted out it was is a white piece of plastic. It was a dime size and very sharp edges

I made rice cake with bar rice cake, but it was so chewy that I ended up eating it all with people around me.

Fantastic rice cakes

The owners are great, very accommodating to our needs and the rice cakes were outstanding. I was actually thinking of how good they were when I decided that if they were good enough to think about three weeks after our event that O Bok deserved a review.

Not the best rice cake store.... But pressure to go there since there are only two rice cake stores in Denver, which is very sad! That's OK though sine I don't go there often.

Well, since I mentioned Dah Won Rice Cake in my previous review, it's now time for me to tell you about Aurora's other well-known tteok [glutinous-rice cake] purveyor, O Bok Tteok. O Bok (in the same Havana/Yale stripmall as Mr. Panda Super Buffet - again, see previous review) is about the same size as Dah Won but a little more spartan. The coolers are smaller and fewer, and they tend to focus more on the plain tteok (they currently only have my favorite, ggul-tteok - the honey-sesame one - on Thursdays). But hey, that just means you have more ways to use it, right? When you buy an order of tteok, it may seem like a small amount. But once you bring it home, take it out of the wrapper and actually start working with it, you will see that it's a whole lotta cake! The last time I made a purchase from O Bok, I used some of it in a stirfry, ate some of it plain (when it's fresh it's actually really good like this), and... I can't recall what I did with the rest of it. My point is that I bought a lot without realizing it. But enough of my babbling - go to O Bok and see for yourself! PS Please note that when you step inside the entire staff may be back in the kitchen hard at work. (Time to make the tteok! Whew, I made the tteok). In these cases you may have to wave and gesture rather vividly to get their attention, as I discovered. But believe me, it's worth it.
