Great family owned business. They make you feel like you're a part of the family! It's such a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special occasions. The space is amazing and has great seating, too. And everything on the menu is full of flavor, the brisket and pulled pork being my favorites, but there are so many other Southern comfort food favorites to enjoy like the fried catfish or ribs. The service is above and beyond, and you can tell everyone loves what they do there.

An incredible experience as always. We arrive to a clean establishment - walking in on the Staff preparing more Greens amongst others- and settle quickly and start watching thr Basketball game playing. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, Making sure to check us in fast as well as Was very smooth between servicing several customers. Very good prices- The main entrees being roughly $8 and the sides being like $4 with $2 beverages.Despite placing a large order, they bring the food out very fast. I ordered the Smoked chicken, sweet potatoes, Mac & Cheese, dirty rice, and HotWater corn bread. My Boyfriend orders Ribs, Brisket, Hot links, and Mac & Cheese with Cornbread. Well seasoned and tender, all the meat flling off the bone. Mac and Cheese moist and cheesy, the sweet potatoes my favorite! Sweet and soft, rounding out the taste profile perfectly. They have a strong selection of regular beverages (Enjoying my meal with A Strawberry lemonade) but to my Surprise they have a very strong Alcoholic beverage menu! The Mexican Candy cocktail would have been my selection and they had something with a cookie dough liquor? Definitely would have been a must try if I had not left my ID at home! We received large plates, both of us taking home a piece of meat with Corn bread with a sweet but crisp Peach cobbler to go.Their food truck off Illiff & Buckley is how I found out about the establishment. The truck is always so good and popular that it often sells out fast, so it was nice to be able to have a range of selection here while sitting at the comfortable booth. Everything prepared Hot and fresh, One of my favorite eateries in Aurora. Definitely look forward to bringing my ID to try out their Alcoholic selection!

Okay spot... Pretty good prices, got the ribs, pulled pork, catfish, hot like, fries, dirty rice and potato salad for about $50.What's good : hot link had great flavor & kick. . Ribs were tender and good flavor. Cat fish was decent. Great fries. What's eh: dirty rice was very disappointing, little flavor. My mom usually loves potato salad everywhere but wasn't a fan. Pulled pork a tad bland. Seems like they only have one BBQ sauce and it was eh (and only got one small cup) so considering none of the meats come with sauce you're at the mercy of liking them as is or the sauce won't help. They ran out of chicken so couldn't try that so need to come back and try that and the wings and brisket

I did the food truck after many years. Mac and cheese is acceptable. Catfish is amazing just like the last time. Brisket was nothing like it used to be. Very moist and flavorful. The green on the other hand last time hat turkey neck bones in them. This time none. The greens were great

Great service. Great food. Being from Atlanta, everybody knows how we are about our barbecue and they definitely get a pass from me. Good portions for the price and some really nice tender meat for the brisket. Their greens are great and the Mac is great too. Definitely gotta go here more often. Places like this definitely make me feel more comfortable being out here

This was so good! We got a few things to try and shared family style - everything was delicious and our server was so nice and friendly! The owner also came out to clear our table and ask how everything was, which was really nice. I overheard him telling another table that these were his grandmothers recipes - a true family restaurant which is such a special touch. We will definitely be back!

The Baked beans blew me away, a mild spice is a side that can stand on its own. The Pork and Brisket is moist and fall-apart--even after a 30 min drive home. I will be looking for the custom modded truck with the built-in smoker when I'm around Iliff and Buckley area!
