This course has beautiful views and was in very good condition for April. We had a great round aside from the incredibly rude course Marshall. We were playing slightly behind pace. Instead of respectfully asking us to pick up the pace of play on the back 9, the Marshall race up and proceeded to yell at us and lecture us for playing behind schedule. He then proceeded to make an incredibly rude comment, saying, “this isn’t lesson time out here. Play faster.” When I asked him what the point of that comment was, he ignored me and drove away. He could have been much more respectful in this encounter.Other than that, we really enjoyed the course, and the rest of the staff. Funny how one person being rude can affect your overall experience.

Racism runs rampant on this course and the staff sides with the instigators. I'll never play here again and you shouldn't either. The city of Aurora should be embarrassed about it. I wish I could have given them a 0 star rating.

Very nice and welcoming folks here.

Outstanding course that will challenge you all day long. Well kept and offers a decent driving range with real grass and a solid chipping area.

It was a beautiful driving range I really enjoyed the views. Getting balls is a bit different than I’m use to as you have to go in and pay for them then you have to go get them where the golf cart drop off and pick up is which is down a walk way under where you just purchased the golf balls code and then after getting balls you have to walk about 150 yards to the driving range.

Great golf course. The views are outstanding and the course is in great shape. Unlike some of the reviews, I appreciate the marshals keeping the pace of play moving. It’s a challenging course sometimes you just need to pick up!One thing that definitely needs attention is the bathroom facilities on the back nine. I play Saddle Rock at three times a month and the lav is so sticky I gag. If I were a guy, I would be looking for a tree, which I’m sure the neighbors would appreciate.

Unprofessional Staff and Unequal TreatmentI am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Saddle Rock Golf Course. From the moment my group and I arrived, we encountered a series of problems that made our day of golfing anything but enjoyable.Firstly, the employees seemed utterly bothered by the simple task of retrieving the golf clubs we had rented. Their lack of enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel unwelcome right from the start. It's disheartening to pay for a service and receive such subpar treatment.Additionally, we communicated clearly that our group was split, with both experienced and novice players. Despite this, we were asked multiple times if we had played golf before. This unnecessary repetition only added to our frustration and impatience. The most concerning part of our visit was the disrespectful comments we endured while playing. These comments were not only hurtful but also entirely inappropriate. It's shocking to experience such behavior on what should have been a relaxing day. What was even more disheartening was the unequal treatment when it came to the pace of play. Only our groups with majority minority players were singled out to pick up the pace, while another group of white players was allowed to proceed without any interference. This blatant discrimination is unacceptable.Furthermore, despite booking well in advance and confirming our reservation the week prior, our group of 12 individuals was not properly accommodated. It was clear that our presence was not a priority for the staff, which left us feeling disregarded and unwelcome. The goal of golf should be to create an inviting and supportive environment, but we felt anything but welcomed. The negative encounters with staff members, especially Gordy and Richard, were the icing on the cake. Despite the fact that the group ahead of us was significantly slowing down gameplay, we were the ones targeted multiple times.I want to emphasize that our intention was to have a memorable day of golf, but the unprofessionalism, unequal treatment, and discrimination we experienced left a lasting negative impression. I hope that the management takes immediate action to address these issues and ensures a more respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all patrons. These incidents have been recorded, and I believe it's important for others to be aware of the troubling experience we had here. I hope this review prompts positive changes within the establishment.

The course is in great shape. The restaurant was awesome. The club house and ranger were horrific and ruined the back none of our day. From the 10th tee the ushered us along as if we were holding people up. No one was 1.5 holes behind us. We let a group go before the turn as we went in to get refreshments. That’s it. Their excuse was we were playing slow. The group behind us were more than 1 hole behind. When we tried to discuss thei with the Mark in the shop he was unwilling to discuss the issue be to say we were slow. With no one behind us, does it matter? There is no need to play here with Murphy creek and other courses nearby. Their attitude and behavior was ridiculous and unnecessary. I don’t need to spend my money here.

Course is in awesome shape haven’t played it for a few years. And your marshall (and I wish I gotten his name ) was the best guy ever. We got a hole behind and he didn’t come on us like some marshals do. He was very nice and we tried our best to catch up. He said we were on time but to try to pick it up little. Marshalls like that could learn from him It doesn’t have to an ( oh no ) situation when you see them. We’ll be back for sure. He even said thanks for playing here.

I had a regrettable experience at Saddle Rock Golf Course when I encountered a slip and fall injury in their bathroom. It was clear that the business was negligent in maintaining the cleanliness of the floors as there was no caution sign indicating a wet floor at all. Despite assurances from the employees that they would contact me for a follow-up report, I never heard from them. To make matters worse, my left wrist continues to suffer from the injury. Not to mention, the employees agreed that the floors looked slippery hence report they were supposed to give. This lack of responsibility and accountability has left me deeply disappointed with their handling of the situation. I hope they take this incident as an opportunity to improve their safety measures and customer service.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience at [Golf Course Name]Rating: ★☆☆☆☆I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Saddle rock that left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that I have to write such a negative review, but I believe it's important to share my experience with others who may be considering playing at this course. My friends and I had made a tee time well in advance and were eagerly looking forward to our round of golf. However, upon arrival, we were informed that our tee time had been cancelled due to a supposed no-show that happened 45 prior to our tee time. The lack of professionalism and poor communication displayed by the staff was alarming. What made matters worse was the fact that the golf course made no effort to accommodate us or make up for their mistake. They offered no alternative tee times or any sort of concessions for their error. Instead, we were simply handed a couple of buckets of balls as if that would make up for the inconvenience caused. It's truly disappointing when a business fails to take responsibility for their mistakes and shows little regard for their customers. The lack of effort to find a solution or make amends for their error speaks volumes about their customer service.Furthermore, the poor customer service extended beyond the incident itself. The staff members we interacted with were dismissive, displaying a complete lack of empathy towards our situation. Their attitude only served to compound the frustration we were already feeling.Ultimately, the experience we had at Saddle rock was far from what we had expected. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and the absence of any attempt to rectify their mistake left us feeling undervalued as customers. I cannot recommend this golf course to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free golfing.

What would you expect from Aurora? I played Aurora Hills when the Pro Shop was in a trailer. Played Meadow Hills when it was bought by Aurora. So I've seen the Whole Golf in Aurora Child grow up. Don't waste your time to be treated like shit, by a guy that must have pissed off everybody today...Course isn't much any way...Super should be fired...

Not told or directed in any way on where things were on the course, got yelled at for being behind pace of play when we kept catching the group ahead. Very disappointed after hearing so much good.
