I love the food and the service, although it did smell a little bit strange at the entrance.

Made reservations. Waited an hour and a half just to go to a table that didn't have enough room for my guest. Very poor service.. I would not recommend this poor service , slippery floor due to all the grease down. place to anyone.. They also gave me the wrong food which was cold. Instead of them making it fresh, they re heated the food on the same dirty plate. very disappointed ? ? ?

Really disgusting hibachi, all the silverware was dirty, my glass had someone’s lipstick on it still and the staff was rude.

Went for a nice date- saw it had tonkatsu (which I was craving) and decided to try it out... We got an appetizer ($5 because happy hour), a non-alcoholic drink, tonkatsu and some noodle dish.Atmosphere was old and grungy- they had a weird music choice. 3 servers helped us? It was very weird having to switch. All the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there, but with the mandatory 19% gratuity I guess they really didn't have to be good at service.Food was meh. Everything tasted old. Spring rolls didn't taste fresh, friend rice was mushy, the noodles had the thinnest tiniest pieces of meat, tonkatsu was crisp, but I've had better elsewhere at half the price.Total came to $66 but with mandatory gratuity it ended up being $85... and they still expected another tip ontop of it all. If the food was worth it, I 100% wouldn't mind the gratuity + expensive food price, but this was definitely an expensive mistake. After gratuity and tax, the $23 dish turned into $30, and for the quality of food, this was definitely worth half that at the very least. Ontop of it all, the food didn't sit well and felt like a rock the entire time driving home.Extremely disappointed considering it has a high rating.

The place was a blast! But the food was so greasy/too much oil. The soup was probably the best part.

Usually Habachi places are super fancy looking, and the show is super fun but the food is kind of meh. You go for the experience not the food. Here was the opposite. Outside was very run down, inside was clean and nice. The show was good - but I feel it was just our chef. The hallmarks of a hibachi show (like flipping shrimp into our mouths) were lacking, (despite half of us having shrimp dishes). BUT the food was amazing. Super delicious. Scallops were cooked to perfection. Steak perfectly temped and seasoned. I will be back

The food was not so great. The restaurant also had a smell that was pungent. We were surprised to find the food as unappealing as it was with the place having 4 stars.

I love this spot so much because it has such a laid-back vibe to it. I was able to go in for a low-key date night with my bf. He asked where I wanted to go and I definitely picked Sakura because the other hibachi restaurants around are so upscale I feel like I can’t breathe. This is definitely my go to spot for hibachi and sushi. It’s absolutely amazing and the last time I went in I had the best customer service with Tia and can’t say enough positive things about the atmosphere and the service here. 5 out of 5 stars recommend

We were in this weekend with my kids, and our server was Tianna. She was wonderful and understanding of us not giving our children sugar, making sure we had everything we wanted, and was just so fun! Thanks for the great experience Tianna!Kid-friendliness: Listened very well on our boundaries with sugary drinks.
