Not only was the lamb/rice qabli delicious and the chicken shawarma equally lovely but the owner earns 5 stars in my book! My battery died in front of the restaurant and he ran over to AutoZone ( and wanted to pay for the jumper cables himself!) but he jumped the car, then brought us bottles of water. A big hug and kudos to Watan

Great authentic Afghan restaurant . Where mainly Afghanistan is spoken ( hence authentic😄). Food is prepared fresh so please be patient .

This is a marvelous hole in the wall serving excellent Afghan foods. All menu items are halal.
The portions are generous and the service is very friendly and relaxed. Prices are very reasonable.
The restaurant itself is very basic. There are no frills here. But the food is well worth it.
We will be back.

The generosity of the owner and overall food are excellent. The hummus and bread are outstanding! Even better than some of the upscale places in Denver. This is truly homemade and made to order. We will definitely be returning. They truly are so sweet to the customers and want you to feel right at home. Even brought us warm tea which was a lovely added touch.

I visited Colorado and went to this restaurant for afghan bread. The bread was fresh and also their afghan burger was soo good. Friendly people, loved this place.
