I’ve been going here for 20+ years. I always get the spinach enchiladas as they are so yummy! The service is always awesome, I have back problems and have to have a booth, I’ve never been treated rudely for asking for a booth. This is my go to for Mexican food ! The owners are always polite and working hard. I’ve never had anything but awesome food ! I would rather pay a little more and have great food . I highly doubt they use canned food ! I just had to write a hood review after reading the last one ripping the restaurant apart. 20+ years of going there says something ! Thank you senior Ric’s !

Wow what a wonderful Mexican dinner! We ordered fajitas (steak/chicken) and the meats were very very tender and flavorful. The onions and green peppers were sliced very thin and cooked to perfection. Tasty ice cold beers, excellent service. Many thanks!!

Senor Ric's is a staple of Aurora. I've been coming here for 2 decades and it's been consistently amazing the whole time. The restaurant is beautiful themed and decorated and the ambiance is authentic. Most importantly, the staff is always wonderful and the food is to die for. Don't waste your time - you found the right place.

My partner & I visited for the first time excited and hopeful to find a good Mexican restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be our go-to. The restaurant itself was darker than we'd like and the food was ok but not anything we were excited about.

The food is always great. The drinks are well mixed every time. I wish this place went national.
I had the taco salad and chili con qeso dip…and got food poisoning. Up all night throwing up and feeling like an alien was trying to exploit out of my stomach. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Service is very good and friendly.Had a combo platter with a beef burrito, chili relleno and a beef enchilada with beans and rice on the side. Portion was big (enough for three meals), food was good overall.Beef a little salty, the green chili and red sauce both were low on the spice level. Rice was a little dry.Chips and salsa were good. Salsa has a good flavor with low spice level.
