I attended a line dancing event and an MMA event here and both events were well-managed and fun with good music quality. There is plenty of professional security that work here so safety does not feel like an issue. Food is very standard bar food and honestly on the expensive side (I think my friend ordered some mozzarella sticks for like $18). Drinks are standard pricing and mediocre cocktails. I asked for a cup of water and the bartender said “bottled only” for $3 a bottle....
I loooooove Steve the bartender and the community but the dj is so mean and won’t play country music on country night. They play the same weird off line danced every week and the if you try to request a country song that everyone would rather have, the dj acts as if you ruined his life. It’s so frustrating to come and dance for like 8 songs and wait through 10 people line dance to non country songs when they have a night specific night for like dancing!!!
Overall had a good time but had a very upsetting experience with the DJ and his partner. If you are coming here to line dance don’t expect to dance until midnight. The whole night is slow songs for couple dances with an occasional line dance thrown in but not much. The DJ pretends to not have any line dance songs and doesn’t want to play line dance music. Still had a good time- just could be improved. Best part is the free drinks! Also don’t buy the food it’s $14 for frozen...
