Staff needs some work. Not welcoming or comfortable place to be. Try Jimmy John’s at Southlands, their friendly and the food is better anyway.

On Sunday, April 13th, 2025, I arrived at the Smoky Hill Subway location approximately an hour before closing. Both employees were having a conversation in the lobby and neither greeted me upon entry. Instead, I was met with, “We aren’t taking any orders right now.”

This is unacceptable customer service. If you plan to stop serving guests early, at the very least turn off the “Open” sign and communicate more respectfully. Disappointing experience.

I came to pick up and Valentina is saying that somebody else picked it up. I was telling her why she would give my sandwich to anyone. She shrugged off and said that it’s not her job. Horrible!!

I accidentally placed an online order to this location instead of a different one, the app doesn’t allow you to cancel you must call. So they approve my order and i have called literally 30 times to have them cancel and refund the order. And no answer, does anyone know how to answer the phone?

That's crazy! I ordered a sub, the employee making the sandwich was super lazy, didn't cut it, didn't fold it, so there was a ton of sauce on the wrapper. Then went back in to get a water, and they said to wait ( the store is empty) while she made a sub from scratch for an online order while I stood there for 3 minutes waiting to checkout water.

Store looked cleaned but the lady there had lots of hair with no hair netting and ordered cookies which had blonde hairs stuck on to the cookies. One of the sandwiches ordered also had a blonde hair. It would be better if they used a hair net.

Subway really needs to look at the quality of the employees they hire. I don't know the name of the woman who served us, but I know she speaks Spanish. She is short and wears glasses. They treated us very badly. She didn't expect us to make a decision and at one point she yelled at us. Honestly, it makes me sad to give them this rating, but it's very bad that they treat us like this.

RIPPED OFF. The 2-3 employees working this location do not speak fluent English which led to a fiasco in ordering my meal. There have been problems every time I've gone there, but they could be worked out with a second explanation of what I wanted. Not this time...

I ordered 2 kids meal turkey sandwiches and a normal meatball marinara combo for myself. The total should have been $21.xx. I know this because, I've ordered it consistently several times in the past couple months. Instead, I was charged $34 because she thought I was ordering 3 adult combos. I was VERY clear about the 2 kids meals, and the clerk knew exactly what type of sandwiches she was making. I immediately called her out and insisted the price be checked and corrected. She insisted I was wrong, as did I with her. Unable to understand me, she had to pull out her phone to help translate my request for a corrected price. She called over a colleague and another customer who happened to be bilingual. All 3 of them could not comprehend I was ordering 2 kids meals and 1 normal combo. Under duress and not to cause a further scene, I paid the $34 and vowed never to come back to this location again. That same evening I filed a customer service complaint online, which I later learned went directly to the branch and corporate most likely would not be involved. Well congratulations, you got my extra $13. You also lost 3 customers forever in the process. I hope the tradeoff was worth it.

Rest assured, this complaint is being forwarded to the corporate office and if they refuse to do anything then the charge will be disputed.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!! The folks behind the counter don't understand or even speak english.....VERY frustrating!!!!! I spent 5 minutes trying to tell the girl that I wanted a little more mayonnaise on my sandwich and she couldn't even understand that....SMH!!!! Wont be back... Try hiring people that speak English.

I placed Order at 6:58, I arrive at restaurant at 7:45 the order was not ready, yet the app said ready, I sat down, and waited, then got up after the cashier was done with the customer in front of me, he had a lady helping him tender a credit card transaction which took an usually amount of time to do, then the helper disappeared to the back!  I was left with the man, he seen me and then ran down to the begin of the line ignoring me. started helping another customer, and finally after walking towards the other customers and making eye contact with him he ask my name, I told him Anthony, he then said nothing, and proceeded to make my order.  I was confused the app said ready, this is very bad.  It gets worst, I then watch him frantically make my order with little care or resolve to work.   He was trying to push me out the door with just half my order, I had to help him create my order, and not to forget my dipping sauces for the new subway dippers, he then went to the back and told the helper it was two churros  and not none..  They spoke in their language, then gave them a quick sprinkle of salt instead of sugar, and put them in the oven for 5 seconds, and the luke-cold churros were born with salt.  then he threw everything into the bag, because he could not read the language on the ticket/receipt I am very very concerned with this location, and will never come back to subway again,  no to mention the subs were poorly wrapped, hanging out of the wrapper, and while bagging up the churros the guy was touching his face, and it was so unappetizing!

None of the employees speak English, so if you place an older online, they cannot even read what you want on your sandwich. Go to a location whose employees can speak and understand English. If this subway has an employee that speaks Spanish, there should also be an employee that can speak English. Not have both employees barely speak English. I ordered a sandwich online and it was completely wrong, and when I went into the store to Show them their error, She could Not understand me and had to use her phone to translate what I was trying to say. This is ridiculous and pathetic.

Literally 2 people making sandwich inside. I came at 9pm, and they locked the door already. On the door literally said it close at 9pm. I knocked on the glass, and these 2 people just act like im not there. Lazy people.

Went in to store. The two girls working there do not speak nor understand great english. I went in there telling her my situation on my online order wondering if she could help all she could say was oh yea only online because i was trying to explain to her that i wanted to use a code obviously i know i couldnt use it in store but i could still use my rewards. After that she went back with the other girl which i think are twin sisters and kept talking instead of asking me if i still wanted to make an order or not. Then after subs were done my son asked her for a cookie he asked her if she had put in the bag she said yes asked her again she said yes. Got in the car and checked my bag and no cookie was there she didnt charge me but im upset because we asked her 2 times and she said yes. Honestly horrible service, distracted do no pay attn to the customer!!!! This subway needs, better customer service and employee's that can multi task.

Been a bit since I was in this location. Very clean and they were extremely nice because I had messed up my online order myself and they fixed it for me. Very pleased and staff was very friendly.
