The food is excellent, right on the beach. Service was alright. Big portions. Be ware, ONLY CASH, for the majority of the town of San Pancho.

I was invited into Las Palmas by Edwin Palacios who greeted me at the entrance to the beach. I ordered a Cielo Rojo and the coconut shrimp. The food was good and service excellent. I enjoyed watching Edwin running with full food trays to his customers beachside. Highly recommend - ask for Edwin for friendly service.

Nice restaurant on the beach in San Pancho. Food was very good and service was friendly. We did not have a lot of cash so I asked the server if credit cards were accepted and he said yes. When it came time to pay we were told by another employee that only cash was being accepted "today". I explained that the server told us that cards were accepted and he shrugged and walked away never to return. The server apologized but also disappeared. We scrounged enough to pay the bill and leave a small tip but the whole situation was embarrassing and should not have occurred. Not sure if this is their normal way to operate but be forewarned.

Food and drinks were really good and quick and very reasonable prices. They had a high chair for my toddler which was appreciated, and bathrooms for patrons to use for free.

Waiters were very attentive but I found the sunbed hire to be expensive - does not take card which was annoying as I had to spend my cash there and didn’t have enough to get a taxi home.

What a wonderful experience. We had a wonderful view of the beach/ocean. The service was excellent. Maria was kind, patient and courteous. She never stopped smiling. I had the Las Palmas mahi mahi. My wife had the Las Palmas shrimp. Y. U. M. Our food was brought hot from the kitchen, and our drinks arrived quickly, and delicious! I would love to go back as I highly recommend Las Palmas.

The three of us have lived in Puerto Vallarta permanently for over ten years. We thought we would check out this area for future short getaways. Since it was lunch time we chose this restaurant. It was not very busy. The three of us ordered shrimp tacos (listed on the menu only as shrimp tacos) to compare with our favorites at a restaurant in PV. We also ordered one bottle of water (20pesos) and two bottles of sparkling water (50 pesos each). Tacos were 180 pesos per order. They brought us some chips and a bland sauce, but no small plates. The tacos arrived , three per plate with a very small undressed green salad. The shrimp tacos were cut up shrimp, mixed with some cooked tomatoes and bell peppers. My wife cannot eat bell peppers (allergy) but there had been no mention of them. There were no fresh garnish with the tacos. Our friend tried repeatedly to get someone to come to the table but to no avail. Finally, when we were ready to leave, the waiter arrived we asked for dressing which finally arrived…a small dish of chipotle mayonnaise. My wife questioned him about the bell peppers and his attitude was he could care less. After eating many, many tacos in our lives, we have never had them with bell peppers nor was it mentioned. To tell you the truth, the food was not great, the service poor, and the attitude unacceptable. You should not argue with your customers, especially when they were uninformed by the menu and the waiter. Needless to say we will never return and will suggest to our friends to find another restaurant to patronize.
