Taw Win Thai and Burmese Food

My wife and I had planned to visit for a long time, but always found ourselves otherwise busy. Ordered takeout via DoorDash on 1/4/2024, when we arrived at the restaurant for pickup, we discovered that the staff had tried to contact us to let us know that parts of our order were unfillable due to running out of a couple items. They allowed us to substitute for a second Panang Curry, and some Crab Rangoon. Our incredible experience inside the restaurant while we waited can not be overstated!

The restaurant was incredibly comfortable yet well lit, the staff were unbelievably friendly, and the nice hot cups of tea were the pinnacle of comfort on a 22-degree night! As for the food itself, I am absolutely in love with the complex yet perfectly blended flavors of the Panang as well as the fresh crunch of the Crab Rangoon.

10/10 will absolutely be back again and again!

I love Taw Win and this is the food gem of this neighborhood. The food is always so delicious and flavorful. I love how many vegetarian and gluten free options they have. Also the Tom Kha soup is my absolutely favorite (and I've tried a lot.) Plus they are super friendly and welcoming here. I recommend this place to all of my friends.

The food is absolutely incredible! Taw Win gave us the best experience dining in a restaurant I’ve ever had! Than and his family are so welcoming and kind. We are so lucky to have this place around the corner and will be back often!

If you want to restore your faith in humanity AND eat amazing food - go here! The food is incredible and the owner and his family are the kindest people I’ve ever met. The restaurant is decorated beautifully for the holidays and you can tell the owners care so much about this place and all their customers. We had an incredible meal and by the end felt like we were longtime friends with the owner and his family. Eating here will satisfy your food craving and warm your heart at the same time.

Update 12/14/24: dined in for the first time and it was a magical experience— everyone who works there are legitimately the nicest people ever. 100% worth it to dine in and get to meet Than, the owner, and the rest of the family who helps run the place. They make it feel like you’re sharing a meal in their home, not just eating at a restaurant.

The kindest staff and the best Thai food in Denver! While waiting for takeout they brought me complimentary hot tea and candies. Super nice people and everything I’ve gotten has been delicious. Servings are huge and everything is fairly priced. Worlds better than any of the overpriced inauthentic stuff I’ve gotten downtown. Can’t recommend this place enough!

AMAZING! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was incredible, and every employee was extremely kind and accommodating. Than and his family were so welcoming and generous. We just moved nearby and they made us feel like regulars already! I could not recommend this place more! We will be back soon, (and often)! Have eaten from here at least dozen times in the last 6 months, both dine in and take out. Food is always excellent. Staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is humble, but very clean, warm and comfortable. My wife and I agree that the appetizers and noodle dishes are best fresh and hot from the kitchen. If we are ordering takeout, we stick with the curries, as they travel well, and have excellent flavor and texture. Papaya salad is on point and great for take out or dine in. Drunken noodles are a favorite, they have a bit of a Burmese twist on the classic flavors that is quite delicious. Recommend adding extra veggies as they are fresh and cooked perfectly. Can’t say enough good things about this gem on the western edge of Aurora. Also the waiter is the nicest man in the universe.

I just had a wonderful experience at Taw Win Thai and Burmese Food. Not only was the Chicken Pad See Ew (left entree in the picture) and the Beef Drunken Noodles (right entree in picture) incredible, but the service was exceptional. Every hard working individual I met there went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable while I waited for my food. I had just placed my order right before they opened and I got there a few minutes after I placed the order. I didn't have to wait long at all. But during that time, they provided me a bottle of water, plate of candies and even hot tea which was a wonderful touch. Everyone was so appreciative and accommodating. I highly recommend you give this spot a try.

I ordered and paid for chicken, but did not receive it on my pad Thai dish. Very disappointed by that. Other than that I am happy with this place and will give it another try!
