Absolutely great food. The crust is very flaky even with the juices from the meat. The taste of the food is on a different level.
Excellent! Best pot pie you'll ever have. The owners operate this business, so you'll get first class service while your eating in. Mark and Lee Anne are amazing people. I recommend the beef and cheese pie... The dough melts in your mouth. The place is always tidy and clean... And most importantly the food is AMAZING.
I cannot express in words how authentic and amazing these meat pies are. As an Australian living in America, it's hard to find anything close(pot pies do not count as meat pies). The crust is mouthwatering and the filling is flavourful and delicious. I was eating it with my hands and making a mess it was that good. I'm only visiting Colorado on holiday and I wish there was one in Texas where I live.
Oi! The Great Australian Bite will have you hopping in for more. I was pleasantly surprised at both the atmosphere and offerings inside. Small but beautifully decorated, the menu fits the size of the restaurant perfectly. Rather than offer dozens of mediocre options, the Great Australian Bite offers savory pies and delicious sausage rolls.
A true taste of Australia carried out in outstanding fashion. The meat pies are gourmet food for the masses. The sausage rolls are simple food made to be simply delicious. The desserts are slices of caramel and lemon, with lamington and custard tarts. All new to the American palate that will beg for more.
Wonderful food and excellent owner!
Amazing place! Has great food and better desserts. Very pleased with this place.
Stopped in not knowing what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised!! The meat pies are delicious! The gentleman who helped us was super nice and welcoming. We're already planning to go back.
At first we thought the pies were too small, but if you order a side such as potatoes and gravy, it's very filling and tasty.
We have been there twice now and planning on going back tonight. Super fresh meat pies and the desserts are to die for! Had a chance to meet Leigh Ann the owner who was super nice. I highly recommend this place. Great quality food for a very good price. Support your local small restaurants and give them a try. You will not regret it! Great place for lunch or dinner. Delicious savory pies and desserts. Chocolate caramel slice was fantastic! They also have take and bake which can be baked at home right away or frozen for another day.

It was amazing. The custard is homemade and the crusts are flaky and just fantastic. Real proper custard is hard to come by and theirs is the real stuff. It reminds me of what my aunt would send from England.
Great food, friendly staff, and consistent quality. Highly recommend this unique little spot. Their chicken curry pot pie is a personal favorite, but so many of their recipes are tasty. The mushy peas are killer.
SUPER nice employee who explained what everything was. I'm not adventurous at ALL, so I got the regular (original?). My husband tried a sausage roll and beef and mushroom pot pie (Is that what you call them?) Everything tasted good and she actually came and checked on us! Nice change from burgers and pizza and the stuff we eat all the time!
Thanks to their take and bake option, I have had almost every pie. Steak and Onion and Kangaroo are classic while Beef and Cheese tastes like sloppy joes and Curry Chicken is a nice lighter pie. I haven't tried the vegetarian pie, but based on my other experiences, I am sure it is delicious. So, with sit down, to go, and take and bake options AND delicious pies, sides, and desserts The Great Australian Bite is definitely worth a visit!
Delicious Australian meat pies. These have a distinct flavor and are very unique. This is definitely something to check out if you are interested in expanding your taste buds or want to try something new.
