Arrogant Chefs ! You can’t complain if food has issues. In my case they served burning hot food to my 11 year old and when we informed the server, she saw my kid’s face and said she is going to replace it. Chef from inside said that’s how it’s made !! They need to desperately learn hospitality and customer service…..or this place is going down soon ….. well they lost me as a customer for sure !!

Ambience was not good, restroom was not well kept and quantity of food for the money compared to other Indian restaurants was less.

I arrived on March 30, 2024 at 1:45 PM. There were empty tables but they were not cleaned. The first server said it would take 15 minutes to clean tables and get seated. After 5 minutes another server came and said the kitchen does not want to take any guests. This is extremely bad service, I had to drive a long distance to show up. Apparently this under new ownership. Please do not visit this establishment has they provide erratic unreliable customer service.

New ownership and the dosa was actually crispier and less oily. They also added a new peanut chutney that was delicious to the array of typical items like sambar and coconut chutney. They reintroduced their bisibheli and it was yummy. And now, they have a nonveg menu too. As usual it's run down inside and could use some tlc, but I'm hoping the new owner will invest in that. Still worth visiting for the authentic dosas.

Good food on a great afternoon. Wide variety to taste in a thali. Starting from savory to dessert everything was authentic. The ghee dosa was served with 3 different chutney and sambar. Everything was worth a penny. Service was on time and ambiance was good.

I had never eaten a masala dosa before but it was even better than it looks in pictures!!! So crispy and this amazing sour flavor - and gigantic - I've also never seen a menu with so many things I've never heard of but can't wait to come back and try more! Way more than your usual things you see at Indian restaurants, especially for vegans :D It also struck me as really affordable compared to Indian restaurants where I live in the Springs!!

One of the best restaurants in the Denver metro area. So sad to hear they're closing soon.

We loved their Thali! Apparently they rotate their weekend specials so you can try different things. Honestly all their dishes were so flavorful and delicious that we can’t wait to go back!

Went there for dinner with the family. Not sure if they turn on the heat - it was brrr cold. I asked the waitress if the heat is on & not sure if she did anything. Everyone was wearing jackets including the waitress. While leaving we overheard a child asking her mom if they have blankets.Besides the food was not good at all. No flavor. Very little salt too. We will not return to this place.

The food was exceptionally good in taste and quantity. We ordered Chole Bhatture and Mysore masala dosa. The service staff was also good to take order and get us extra chutney and onions quickly. The taste of dosa and chutney was just like back home . The food order also came quickly. We took some uttapam and butter masala for later so hoping they are good too.The ambience is good but the restroom was messy and there a bad stink. Clean restrooms is a must for me.We were told to give final order when we ordering our food at 2:00 and the restaurant doesn’t close until 2:30. Even some other customers were turned away when they came at 2:15. We would have loved to order some more after trying but it felt rushed. Also if they actually closing at 2:00 then they need to update their hours online.

Too bad a 1 star is all you can select. February 20, 2024 at around 6:50 p.m. Just a few people in the restaurant. This would be my first time eating at this restaurant and definitely the last time. I was not ready for level of unprofessionalism, deliberate rudeness, and blatant differential treatment. My granddaughter wanted to take me out to eat but the restaurant she originally chose was closed, so we went next store to this restaurant called “Madras Cafe” . The hostess/waitress who seated us stared at us oddly from the moment she laid eyes on us. She was visibly irritated when we asked questions about different choices on the menu, sharply answering with a two word sentence, with not even a hint of a smile, or gratitude that we came to this establishment to eat. She said they were out of several things when we were ordering. I could have reacted at that time, perhaps I should have, but I’m thinking her attitude is unacceptable but possibly a bad day? It would have been a shorter review, if this was the case. She brought what we ordered and literally moved the empty cup to the side slamming it on the table, while carelessly putting down the food and turning around to walk off. At that point I should have got up and left but curiosity and why someone thought they could treat us this way got the best of me. I motioned her back asking her name as she mumbled what sounded as if she said “sweetie”, and abruptly walked off. I’m quite sure for many reasons that was the wrong name. She was the only waitress there, so she can easily be identified. I watched to see if this was her demeanor with the next customers she interacted with, a white couple that was in the booth in front of us. Fortunately for them she was talking, smiling and friendly. Surely, it couldn’t of been discrimination because her skin tone was darker than mine, you think?? We asked for the bill, paid and begin to walk out without a “thanks for coming, goodnight” or anything, from her. She watched us leave with only the quick odd look and unspoken words of “your not welcome here”. It proved to be a continuous learning experience for my granddaughter and I, which is “we don’t insist on paying our money anywhere that we are not welcomed”, you’ll never see us again. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with such deplorable service.
