Service was great, food was fresh. Definitely put this place on your list of ‘want to go’ and I’m sure it will become a regular place for you to visit.

I can’t even say if you want a charming 3rd world experience because it’s not. It’s more of a “front “ posing as a coffee shop. What really goes on there? Who knows. Not a welcoming or comfortable atmosphere. Better off picking up convenience store coffee and some sort of breakfast snack.

Enjoyable Eritrean / Ethiopian (Habesha) food and cofee. KiTcha FitFit and Fata (Regular & Special) are amazing, you then have a sip of the traditional coffee, you'll completely relish it. Amazingly, I had here my first poridge at *a restaurant*_Well ✔️ done, I highly recommend it.Very friendly and flexible hosts; they even served us a customized mix of Habesha meals.Next time I visit Denver, that ll definitely be my spot for breakfast, lunch and traditional coffee.

Just stopped in at 8:00 AM. You would think that a coffee shop would be open earlier and ready to serve. Still waiting.....

I spent a little more than I was hoping to (egg sandwich was $12) but it was a BIG sandwich that was like two meals. FOOD: good sandwich. She asked if I wanted tomato and avocado. Maybe that was extra, but prob would've been super plain without it. It was good. Definitely a hearty portion - like a whole loaf of bread haha. The muffins on display were still in the clear clamshell they bought them in from the super market. DRINKS: really enjoyed my iced mocha. Sweet and good quality coffee. I sipped on it for awhile bc it was thick (not iced blended, just maybe thick from the milk). AMBIANCE: there is a chandelier and comfy chairs around a coffee table. Some teens were hanging out there and seemed to be having a good time. A man was eating a bowl of something at one of the tables and chairs they had across from the coffee bar where you order. There was a globe on the counter and someone had scratched out "Ethiopia" and wrote some commentary. Some kids probably did it. PARKING: pretty easy since it's a strip mall. Not a huge lot, but there were spaces. ACCESSIBILITY: didn't notice any handicapped parking or ramps to get on to the sidewalk, but there weren't any stairs to access the place. OVERALL: really good iced mocha and quite a satisfying breakfast sandwich.

Not a product review, just my experience with the service.Wanted to support a local coffee shop a quick search brought me to Urban Plaza. Arrived around 8:15 sign on the door says they opened at 8. No sign of life in sight. Went back to the car to look for a different coffee spot. About 3 minutes later is when the 2 women pull up and stroll in. At this point what’s another couple minutes, finally the “open” sign flips on so I head in. Upon entering I noticed two things the lights weren’t on and the smell of curry overpowered the inviting smell of coffee first thing in the morning. All in all after waiting in the dark by the register for several minutes while no one bothered to acknowledge there was a customer waiting to order I decided to listen to all the signs cut my losses & buy my coffee elsewhere. I’m a firm believer in 2nd chances maybe I’ll give it another try could’ve been an “off” type of day.
