I stopped by Waffle House recently, and honestly, it hits exactly what you expect, and in the best way. There's something comforting about walking into that diner-style chaos. The open grill, the chatter, and the smell of hashbrowns sizzling on the griddle. I went for the waffles, of course, and they did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, just the right amount of sweetness. I also snagged some eggs and bacon, and the hashbrowns were perfection.
The staff were super friendly and kept things moving, even when the place started to fill up. It's not fancy, but that's exactly why I love it. Waffle House is the kind of place you can swing by any time, grab a filling meal, and leave with that warm, satisfied diner feeling.

Just didn't appreciate that the clock struck midnight and then I was locked inside, which was only an issue because both employees working went to the back, and so I had to wait a few minutes to be able to get out. I understand that it's not the most safe area and that's why it's just carryout after midnight, just a lapse in customer service.

FLIES EVERYWHERE! I killed two in the play area and there were three more swarming in the women’s bathroom. They also lost my order and I never would have gotten my food if I had never gone to ask. Nasty.
