The Mill Street Bistro is Bayfield’s solution to fine dining. It’s nice to have a classier option in such a small town. The food is delicious and they have a rotating menu to keep things interesting. The environment is classy and relaxing. It’s a great little date night spot.

My wife and I try to make a reservation here every other month. They have a new menu every week and the food is always awesome! The folks who work here are great too. Most certainly on Bayfield's best local gems.

Upscale evening eatery with weekly menu changes. (Follow them on Facebook to see their weekly menu). Reservations recommend. Food was delicious and our server was promp and friendly. Elegant calm vibe. Great wine & fun cocktail selections. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic restaurant in Bayfield , CO. You can go and get a table with no reservations, but we always get reservations to guarantee a table. The menu is different every week, which we love!
Recommend Mill Street Bistro whole heatedly!

Best food and dining experience we’ve had in a very long time. Excellent attention to detail and a lot of food at a very affordable price. So worth the short drive from Durango!

We are regulars and I just can’t say enough good things about this place. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in our area - could it be the best restaurant in the entire 4 corners region? We have gone one every other month or so the past 3 yrs since moving to Durango and have never had a disappointing dish, meal, or experience. Last night, we took friends for the first time and I think they were equally impressed. It’s always fun to peek at the season and rotating menu every week, and I appreciate the fact that they have a focused menu but execute each dish to perfection. Highly, highly recommend - can’t want to go back, yet again!

Been here about 6 to 8 times. It's very hit or miss. I usually do not like the meal I pick, but like what others order. Last time got a taco of some sort and the edges on the lettuce were starting to turn black. That same time we got dessert. The cheesecake was crumbly and just not good. The bread pudding was even worse. It was cold and dry, it had no sauce. One time I went there and the sauce on my lamb tasted rancid. I'll probably keep trying because of the lack of options in Bayfield. Maybe I'll just order what my kid gets next time and bypass dessert.

This is a cute, relaxing, well designed, small town restaurant. Nothing lost on the quality of the menu offerings. We started with drinks, a beer & G&T. I have to say this was the best G&T I’ve ever had. We ordered the beef sliders and the stuffed pepper dishes. Both were delicious. Then we ended with blueberry bread pudding topped with ice cream. The portion was huge (good thing we shared), and was delicious also. This is a wonderful, small town bistro you should not pass up.

New to Bayfield, and 1st time at the only real restaurant in the Bayfield neighborhood. Did not disappoint. Made a reservation. Place is a house converted into a restaurant. Super cute inside, has outside seating. Menu changes weekly so that's fun. Menu was a superb selection the day we went. Food was delicious from start to finish. The watermelon salad was so refreshing,
My Ribye steak was perfectly cooked and so juicy and tender, and that marsala mushroom sauce on the steak OMG! My wife's pasta dish was also soooo delicious and flavorful. The dessert 🍨 was an amazing end to my pallet. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Hats off to the chefs.
