My favorite restaurant in town. Love the Funky Monkey drink, the burger, the parrot dip, the butterfly chicken, the fries. Have never been disappointed. Slow island pace but with a great drink and that view, Im happy to settle in

Very good eclectic little spot. Perfect break from camp food. Ignore that "Caribbean" description, it's not very accurate. All kinds of good stuff. Friendly staff.

The view is gorgeous. The food was flavourful and delicious (everyone cleaned their plate)! I would choose this restaurant every time.

If you like good food, with great views then Pura Vida is the place to go. They have the beat Huevos Rancheros anywhere around. Go check them out, you wont be sorry.

My husband and I went there with his family last weekend after some fishing, and we absolutely loved and adored this place! Their food was amazing and his family thought the seafood was spectacular. They were super busy and running around like crazy, but all of our needs were met in a timely manner. Delicious and a beautiful view! We wanted to make the drive again from Durango to eat there the second night!

Nice, friendly place to enjoy a great view of Lake Vallecito. We just had a beer and a salad. Waitress recommended a great beer. Margaritaville theme. Nice place. Nothing fancy.

This place is a great place to eat on Vallecito Lake. We were in late and despite the hour our server was engaged, fun, and took good care of us. The food. I was really surprised at just how good the food was. A very unique menu with an abounding amount of flavor and variety. Drinks were also very good. This place is worth making the trip to experience, even if you are not staying in the Vallecito area. And if you are, you have no excuse not to check it out. As an added bonus, a beautiful view of the lake.

Treated my elderly, 87 and 90 (local) parents HORRIBLY. VERY rude. My mothers meal was inedible and had to be sent back. She went hungry (didn't even ask if she wanted something different and tried to charge for it) and my father (Korean Vet) got sick later that evening. Was Sunday, the 14th July 2019. DISGUSTING behavior.

We had a lovely meal. Everything was fresh and vibrant; the food and our waitress, Morgan. The views of the lake are outstanding. We went mid-afternoon, after a big morning. It was a really relaxed and laid-back environment.

The food here is DELICIOUS! These people know what good food is AND how to cook it! Pat made my steak and being from Texas I am very particular about my meat. One of the BEST steaks I have ever had in my life! No joke!

The view of Vallecito Lake is spectacular. The food is excellent. Try the fried bananas - they are not too sweet with a little crunch.

Great Food, Great Staff, Expensive. I would recommend it to anyone that is willing to spend some money. I'd look at cost's before you actually visit the Cafe. Deserts were great. Long wait for food, but it's understandable because of the tiny kitchen.
