Canceling a reservation an hour before scheduled pick-up time is diabolical and wildly unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

If there was an option to leave zero stars, I’d leave that.

This company was late to pick us up for our show and only showed up(2hrs~ late) because we called them. Then they didn’t pick us up from the show and the bus had left, with our belongings. We had to call again and they didn’t show up. Another company was nice enough to give us a ride.

They didn’t give us our stuff back and did not refund us until we threatened to press charges for our belongings. Our stuff was sent back in an Uber.

One of our friends had used them two weeks after and they never showed up. Their excuse was that “their phone had died and did not know how to get there”. They told her they would pick her up if she deleted her Google review.

So, I would highly recommend not using this company. Their one single job is to drop you off and pick you up, and that can’t even do that. Don’t get stranded.

Left us stranded AGAIN
This review is coming from the same group that was left stranded to and from Rezz. Unfortunately, before that debacle even occurred, we had already booked turtle bus for our ride to Daily Bread for the following week. After many complaints and difficult communication with our first experience, we thought, surely, they would do everything in their power to make this experience (which we should have just cancelled) top notch. At the bare minimum, we thought we could at least depend on them to pick us up according to the times we agreed to and paid for. NOPE. We were left high and dry again. We arranged for 4:30 pick up. Out of caution, I called our “driver” at 4:20, only to be sent straight to voicemail. I tried calling many times with no luck whatsoever. My texts were ignored. I finally got ahold of the manager, Shane. He couldn’t get ahold of the driver, whose phone was apparently dead and who would be unable to come pick us up because he didn’t have access to maps. LOVELY. Our entire group then had to scramble and get Ubers. Once again we arrived two hours after our original plan. The driver finally “charged his phone” and attempted to make it right by promising to pick us up after the show. As if! These people have completely neglected us. This is a business - this is a joke. Would they want their friends left without a ride? Wondering when they were gonna come?? I would hope not. Yet that’s what they did to us. Screw you turtle bus. Thanks for ruining two weekends in a row.

Avoid this company at all costs. We booked this bus to Red Rocks. We were supposed to get picked up at 4:30pm then bus never showed. It took us an hour and half to finally get ahold of them and to get a bus to pick us up. We were super late to the show and got a bad spot at the very top row of Red Rocks.

The worst part about is when the show was over we went down to the bus pick up area and our bus wasn’t there. We couldn’t get ahold from anyone from the company. We ended up taking to a different bus company that was somewhat associated with this company and they sent a random bus to come pick us up. We were stranded in the cold for an hour and half until the other bus came. And to top it off all of our belongings were on the original bus that the sent to pick up a different group. Terrible experience that ruined our night.

My group and I had the worst experience with Turtle Bus. They were at least an hour late for pickup with no communication. As we were getting off the bus, the driver assured me he’d be there when the show was over. We left the show to find our driver was gone and said he went to pick up another group despite our contracted agreement. Tom with Good Time Tours saved the day! He was there and saw us outside stranded, so he called in another driver to pick us up on the fly. If you need a bus, call Tom at Good Time Tours!!

Absolutely horrible experience. Our bus was hours late getting us to our concert, and to make things worse, they never showed up to pick us up afterward. We were stranded in the 35 degree cold with no communication or update from the company. Another bus company felt bad for us and gave us a ride home.

To top it off, this company still had our personal items and didn’t bother to return them until we said we’d contact the police. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Save yourself the headache and book with someone else.

LEFT US STRANDED AT RED ROCKS

DO NOT use this company. First they were over an hour and a half late picking us up (booking was secured and fully paid for ahead of time- also contrary to their policy that payment would be collected day of) this was only after a multitude of phone calls attempting to figure out where our bus was. I fully believe the crooked owner, Shane Ward, had no intention of sending us a bus and intended to keep my payment.

Secondly, we were assured the bus would be there after the show ends and our belongings would be safe. After all, we did pay for this service but after our rocky start, we were unsure this would be true. Turns out the owner LIED to us and left my entire group freezing and stranded at red rocks. The bus we paid for and was promised to pick us up went to boulder instead and all of our belongings and valuables were gone. He NEVER sent us a bus. A different bus company took pity on us and eventually made sure we got home. This was extremely unsafe to be a large group stranded in the dead of night in the freezing cold. He has yet to respond to any of my emails and make this right by refunding full payment and our values are still stolen/missing.

Do not use this crooked business. Also they are lot accredited with the better business bureau.

Update: a staff member, NOT THE OWNER, sent us our items via uber. She was very helpful- this is after I told Shane I’d be getting the police involved. He has yet to contact me in any fashion and I have not been refunded for a complete and total failure to provide services rendered.

Group I was with hired this “company” for the bus service. They picked us up 2 hours late, and would have left us completely if we didn’t call them repeatedly to come get us. After getting off the bus we were reassured that we could leave our things on the bus and it would be waiting in lower south lot. The bus wasn’t there and never came to pick us up. Another bus was dispatched from a different company that a driver of another bus called for us. Thank god for them or else we would have been stranded. Worst customer experience I can ever remember having this is the only 1 star review I’ve ever left and it’s well deserved

Do not use Turtle Bus.
Our group booked transportation to Red Rocks on October 18, 2025, for 20 people, with a scheduled pickup at 4:30 PM. The bus never arrived. After multiple calls, we were informed that Turtle Bus would not be picking us up. We had to arrange Ubers to get to the venue.
We were assured that Turtle Bus would pick us up after the show. However, when we left the amphitheater at 11:30 PM, there was no bus waiting. Again, after several calls, we were redirected to another company that was supposedly assisting Turtle Bus. We ended up waiting in the cold for nearly two hours before finally being picked up.
This experience was extremely disappointing and poorly handled. I strongly advise against using Turtle Bus for any transportation needs.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.
Our group reserved transportation to and from Red Rocks, but the company failed on multiple fronts. They forgot about our reservation entirely, making us extremely late for our event, before finally sending a different bus. Then they forgot about getting us home after the concert and left us stranded in the cold.

The website states that customers are not charged upfront, yet we were. It also claims that belongings are safe to leave on the bus… ours were not. The bus left with all of our items, and we have still not been able to recover them.

Throughout this ordeal, communication was virtually nonexistent. Messages and calls have gone unanswered, and no one has taken responsibility for what happened. Leaving more than 20 passengers stranded late at night, in the cold, without their belongings, is completely unacceptable.

I strongly urge others to avoid this company and for management to take accountability for the serious lapses in safety, communication, and customer service.

*CAUTION – DO NOT BOOK THE TURTLE BUS. THEY STOLE MY MONEY*

We scheduled the Turtle Bus for a river float from Dotsero on 8/23. On our way to the pickup spot, we got a notification that the trip was canceled due to nearby fires. Totally understandable and not their fault.

The problem is what happened after: they never mentioned anything about a refund. I’ve spent the past month calling dozens of times, leaving voicemails, and sending multiple emails. No one answers the phone, no one responds to messages. I paid the full amount plus a prepaid 20% tip, and I cannot get in touch with them at all.

Very frustrating and unprofessional. I’m leaving this review in hopes that someone from Turtle Bus will actually see it and finally get in touch with us.

What a wonderful experience on the Turtle Bus. Everything I asked for and more. Will definitely book them again.

COMPLETE SCAM! Booked a tubing adventure for the day that was paid for in full online prior to the date, only to receive an email telling me the adventure had been cancelled 1 hr before. The person who sent the email Shane Ward, General Manager, explained that we would be automatically refunded. Well, that refund never came. We made multiple attempts to get in contact with ANYONE at turtle tubing and had no luck. Had to start a claim with Amex.

The reviews speak volumes because it seems this is a pattern. DO NOT GET SCAMMED LIKE SOME OF US HERE.

Do not book the Turtle Bus. Communication is terrible. I booked for a group of 17 this past Saturday to take us to a concert at Fiddlers Green. I was charged the fee for 17 and pre-added a 20% tip. I confirmed via email Tuesday of the week leading up to the show.

On Saturday I hadn’t heard anything so I called at 4 pm to confirm they would be there by 5 pm. 15 min later I received a refund email with a note saying something came up and the driver couldn’t make it. I had 17 people scheduled to be at my house in 20 min. Not only did they leave us high and dry, Thomas didn’t give me the courtesy of a phone call and turned off their phone after I called.

Luckily we were able to find another limo company to bring a party bus to pick us up in under an hour. Our night was almost ruined due to this unprofessional outfit. Don’t trust your evening out to the turtle bus. They may not show up!

Christopher Tindell

Company did not show and did not call or text (even though we had texted that day) and instead emailed stating an emergency less than 2 hrs before our agreed upon time. While I wanted to believe this to be an aberration, reading other reviews indicate this to be common business practice.

Do not advise you book transportation with this company - you may be left scrambling, like our group.
