MY MEAL WAS A CHICKEN MUSHROOM CHEESE SANDWICH WHICH BUNS WERE SO VERY SOGGY YUCKY SOGGY WET. I DONT GET IT?
SADLY I HAD TO THROW IN TRASH. IM GUESSING SANDWICH WAS WARMED BEFORE DELIVERY VIA MICROWAVE!!

Ordered eggs Benedict florentine-the egg was like rubber and the entree was covered with a pound of hollandaise sauce. Also ordered a mushroom Swiss burger with a side salad. The lettuce was brown, no choice of dressing just ranch. The burger was all bun and shredded brown lettuce. The meat was thinner than a pancake and over cooked. Apparently new ownership- major nsjor decline. Would not return. Scummy washrooms too.

We have been going here since I was a kid . I know it’s been through a few different owners. I haven’t been back in a couple years. , because of my experience with the current owners. On this day we got out usual the habanero burgers a few bites in I almost chipped my tooth! Take it out of my mouth ,look at it ,don’t know what it is? It’s very sharp and pointed good thing I didn’t swallow! The lady with the long hair comes to the table I show her ! She takes it looks at it and she’s smiling and laughing saying it’s ok it’s just the plastic, she’s still laughing ,saying oh ya it’s from the container the habanero sauce is in . So she knew about the situation already. We all just stopped eating didn’t even finish are meal . The owner the man was there watching , and he knew us, but never came over . So she says we will take half the cost of your hamburger? Even though we both stopped eating . And for the first time ever left are meal , we paid and they lost us as customers, still super sad ! But they should have handled things with better hospitality, knowing we frequently went there and never once left food on are plate ! Instead took half off one burger ,. We paid and walked away

Food was decent. Biscuits and gravy were good. My only feedback would be to disclose that bacon is $4.50 as well as ham. We were asked what meat and eggs expecting it to be included as part of the meal. Was shocked to see an additional $9 to the bill for something like bacon & ham. Also, give customers at least 5 minutes to review the menu rather than instantly seating and then asking what we want to order before we had the opportunity to open the menu. Overall, solid place. Folks were nice.

It’s probably better there in the restaurant but door dash meal was absolute crap sorry to say. My wife and I ordered burgers they came soggy and raw pretty much . Your French fries came cold nd taste like cardboard with no flavor ! I apologize but was not happy with my food… only thing good was the mashed taters and the Pepsis . Thanks but no thanks not going back … sorry thumbs down 👎 to my experience with Grandpa’s cafe .
