The food has always been good, but the latest menu and fresh, perfect preparation from Chef Jeannie impresses us every time. The special biscuits they serve with some of their breakfast items is our newest unexpected guilty pleasure, but I'd recommend everything on their menu.
A hidden gem!!! Right out in the open. If you travel hwh 287 between Loveland and Longmont. There it is. On the east side of 287 a couple hundred yards, south of the Berthoud traffic light.
I'm sitting in the cafe as I type. I had a beautiful mushroom Swiss burger, french fries, and an ice tea. I know it doesn't sound like beauty yet. But I opened the kiser roll, saw the freshly sauteed onions and mushrooms, the arugula lettuce was piled on, the french fries...

It's a true cafe. Good food, lots of parking, friendly staff, clean restrooms, seemed a bit pricey. But i was there for a business meeting and drove up from, and in a different mindset, the price might have been okay.
