BoLD Restaurant and Bar

We went for dinner. We had reservations. We were sat and it took about 10mn for the waiter to come to our table. He did wait on other tables nearby, but did not even acknowledged us. We had the burrata appetizer, which was delicious. However, we were 4 people, and they gave only 2 tiny little toast to put the burrata, tomatoes, etc., on it. Seriously, you could not put 4 pieces of bread? Bread is not expensive, considering restaurants overcharge you for everything else. I had the Greek salad, very good, my hubby the fish and chips. The 3 pieces of fish were overcooked. The chips were small little potatoes and were sooooo good, they had this smokey flavor, really delish. The peas were also good. One of my son's had a burger, very good. The other had the lobster roll BLT and it was so so good. Overall, excellent food, but service could be better, our waiter was not particularly attentive. Worth going though! We will return next time we are in Breck!

Came for the food and stayed and for the atmosphere and service. Seriously, nicest bartender, so friendly and fun- he had the best playlist. He also gave great recommendations about the food here but also about what to do around town. I’m not a skier, so I had a lot of free time while my family was on the mountain. Meredith was also amazing, she’s a great waitress! Love these people 🫶

“10-star gem” – this Breckenridge main station restaurant is a must-try. Our brunch experience was one of the best, quick and fantastic. The server, witty yet dead serious and hilarious, provided a fine dining experience with serious care. We’d request the same server if we dine here again. The chicken skewers and meze board were delicious. Princess, our server, made it more enjoyable, recommending spots for nightlife like karaoke and dancing clubs. Honest about the menu, she suggested avoiding certain items and opting for her top-shelf drinks instead, which proved correct. Worth every penny, we wish they’d enhance the Bloody Mary bar area. The bartender, Pete, makes an amazing breakfast cocktail with cinnamon. We’ll return this summer to try dinner and early breakfast.

I always come to Bold for the food, but on this visit I dat at the bar and was served and by Pooch. He was an absolute pleasure, 10/10 will recommend.

Service and food were great! The restaurant was filthy. We were one of the first customers of the day since we had an early breakfast so it wasn’t that they had a crazy day and were turning tables with no time to clean up. The booth we sat at had ketchup/hot sauce and food all up the walls with 4 of us we had to squish in so I was pressed against the wall which also stunk. We decided to move to the table next to us and as I looked around I noticed the place was filthy. I don’t think the walls, chairs or seating have been wiped down in weeks. Another thing that drives me crazy in the restaurant business these days is the electronic computers the waiters deliver for the bill. When we asked for the check our waitress showed us the bill on her computer which wasn’t itemized just a number. We were paying cash so she just hovered over us as we paid which is so awkward. Although food was good, I don’t think I’d return with all the other options around.

Food was amazing- we were there for breakfast and everything we had was flavorful, cooked well, and just perfect. Country fried steak was flavorful and crispy and a giant portion. The egg white omelette was huge and flavorful- the salsa on it was extraordinary. Drinks were great and staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend this place for brunch/breakfast.

I’ve always loved coming to Bold — it’s been one of my favorite spots in Breckenridge. Unfortunately, this last experience completely changed my perspective, and it’s the reason I won’t be returning or recommending it to others.
Our server, Princess, took over 15 minutes to greet our table. If we hadn’t been waiting for others to join us, we likely would have left. From the start, she seemed disengaged and uninterested in being there. She was very difficult to hear, barely spoke to us, and overall came across as quite rude.
We ordered appetizers, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. Drinks were also slow — we could see them sitting in the service well for extended periods before being brought to the table. At one point, she even came to our table chewing her own food multiple times, which felt unprofessional.
When I ordered a second drink, it unfortunately wasn’t to my taste. I politely asked if it would be possible to switch it out and apologized for the inconvenience. Although she did replace it and did not charge me (which I appreciate), she visibly rolled her eyes and barely interacted with our table afterward.
After our entrees were delivered, we didn’t see her again for about 30 minutes. She never checked in to see how everything was, and we had to flag her down — along with other tables — just to get our checks.
It’s disappointing because I’ve genuinely enjoyed Bold in the past. However, based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and if I did, I would request a different server.

Wandered into this place on a Sunday morning when multiple other places had lines of people waiting. Not sure why this place didn't because the food and waitress were both amazing. Would definitely recommend and return.

Advertised as Mediterranean cuisine, I think there's been a cultural shift there. The starter was a spicy chicken kabob, or skewer. Very good, but to dip in was ranch dressing, like straight from a bottle up Kraft? Not yogurt-based not with the tanginess you would find in Mediterranean cuisine. My wife had lamb tacos and they were very good. I chose fish and chips as noted on the menu, but the description was that it would be fingerling potatoes roasted with a sauce. I anticipated white cod and a light tempura batter. Boy was I mistaken. I think both the fish and the fries came right out of a plastic bag and tossed into oil. Essentially an oversized fish stick. I chose a kids menu. That's on me, but the menu description was not at all but it was served on my plate. Cannot recommend this restaurant.
