Are you looking for a fun dining experience while visiting Breckenridge? Then look no further than the Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant. If you are asking the question, "What makes it so fun?" The simple answer is everything.

When we first arrived, we were welcomed better than our own family welcomes us at times. There is a bar you can sit at, or you can sit at tables or booths. We opted for a table that had a fun little wobble to it. They attempted to fix the wobble, but we loved the wobble as it added a bit of character.

There is a happy hour menu that has some of the favorite dishes at a discounted price and a regular menu with every item (we ordered from both).

From the happy hour menu, we started off with the Obi-Wan and Banana Rum cocktails made from tasty hard liquors, which are all brewed in the house (yes, there is a sci-fi theme throughout). We then ordered the tots, fresh pork skins (which were still popping and crackling when they were served), salad, the smash burger, and the sticky ribs. All the dishes were prepared to perfection.

From the regular menu, we ordered the New York strip. Here is another fun tip, there are several sauces available to choose from. We had a hard time deciding which sauce to order. That is when we were informed of a sauce tray that contained them all... PERFECT!!!

When the sauce tray arrived, each sauce came in its own 3oz gravy boat. The New York Strip was cooked to a perfect medium rare (just like we ordered), sliced in perfect sized strips. This made it easy to sekect a portion of steak with tongs to put on the dinner plate. This made it easy to douse it in the perfection of the sauce of your choice. However, I ate most of my share without the sauce as it was perfectly seasoned without the sauce. To each their own. This entire experience was over the top fun. However, the enjoyment does not stop there.

There are also several spacious areas available for rent for big group social gatherings of 20 or more guests, and there is a gift shop as you walk in and exit the store which sells the house spirits and other novelties.

Therefore, if you are looking for a fun filled dining experience while visiting Breckenridge, the Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

I wish more distillery visits were like this one! After tasting their delicious bourbon and whiskey we enjoyed delicious food in the attached restaurant. We happened to arrive for happy hour. The Old Fashioned and chicken green chili tots were fantastic!

I had a lot of people recommend this place and now I see why! We came for happy hour (2-5pm I believe), and they had some decent deals. $10 cocktails, a smash burger, 420 tots (loaded with brisket and jalapeños). All the servers and employees were kind and helpful, food came out quick, and we had a nice time. Oh! I had a strawberry fields drink, and they sweeten with monk fruit simple syrup!! So awesome to have a nice drink that I enjoy with no sugar.

Dietary restrictions: They helped with menu items and were flexible. I got a lettuce wrap for my smash burger and they had drinks with no sugar that were really great

Parking: Lots of parking!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp from the lot up to the front door. Most of the restaurant is on level ground, but is very cozy inside. Staff may have to move tables to accommodate accessibility devices such as wheelchairs.

Mostly ok food but Very slow service. Worst part of the experience is noticing a $1 charge for ice on every glass of bourbon. Have never been to a place where you order a $40 drink, spend $300 on dinner and get charged $1 for every cube of ice. Very shocking and disappointing.

Last night had the most pleasant experience, food was great and grabbed a bottle on the way out.

Parking: They have a van that picks up and drops off, if it's busy season try to get picked up. There is always parking sometimes you may need to wait a few minutes in high season.

My wife spent weeks corresponding with this location for a large party reservation prior to our trip. When we arrived they had lost our reservation and were fully booked for the night. The hostess treated my wife as if it was her fault despite showing them the e-mail chain. It seems there was a miscommunication within their staff. We waited patiently, and when my wife went to speak to the hostess again to ask if it was realistic for them to seat us, she cut my wife off and said "just 5 more min" in a very condescending tone. Apparently they found a table but didn't let us know during our wait. We ended up leaving before getting the tables because of how we were treated which is unfortunate because the drinks and food looked quite good and we were looking forward to it.

My husband and I shared the picanha steak, which was very good with the cowboy butter. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I have loved this restaurant since I've been coming to Breckenridge for the past 7 some odd years and I realize that every restaurant has an off night.

My one recommendation to the restaurant is that they list the ingredients of everything so that we can know what is there. I did ask what cowboy butter meant and did state my allergy, but the $80 steak came out with the whole kit and caboodle of gross overdressed butter and roasted garlic. Since I didn't want a night of diarrhea, we requested a new one which took so long that we had to take it to go. I don't pretend to understand how to cook that kind of steak but it wasn't great.

The salad options were limited and I was surprised when told that there were no other dressing options, not even oil and vinegar.

The cocktails are fun, enjoyed the liquor.
