It's expensive, but the quality is immediately noticed. Their smoked elk is the real deal. Their jerky is also amazing and they have quite the variety for the spaces they sell in. Employees are always friendly and helpful They sell by the Moly mine at the edge of Lake County for slightly cheaper on Fri Sat Sun.

Ordered duck jerky online and was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, my $50 was wasted because all the packs of jerky were as hard as actual bricks. Wouldn’t even give this to my dog. Super disappointed, I would have been a monthly customer for life if it was good as I love duck and jerky but this was a major let down.

Oh my - this was as delightful surprise. I thought I had jerky before, but it's incomparable to what I enjoyed at Climax Jerky. After I tried it I was blown away - I might have guessed that it would cost twice as much since its clear Climax uses some great cuts of meat and the best ingredients. Next time, I'm going for the smoked elk and some teriyaki beef, and recommend it to you as well.Cheers!

Fiance said it was the best item he's ever purchased and the best jerky he's ever had. Prices are steep though. $10.99 for 4oz. I had to ration what little my fiance had but he kept sneaking it so it didn't last more than a day. Service was friendly. The guy working in the Brec shop was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and was kind enough to walk my fiance through options. Great place, not so great price.

We grabbed a bag of buffalo & elk jerky at a vendor in brekenridge, we thought the jerky was really tasty & the guy selling it was helpful & friendly. The price is a little steep, but I like to live by the thought that you get what you pay for & in this instance, the quality of this jerky is really great.
