We stopped in here while on the way home from Breckenridge. We had to wait over an hour to get in on a Tuesday morning. The food is good, but not good enough to wait an hour for.
The pancakes are huge. They cover an entire large plate. My omelette was fluffy and you could tell it was made with real ingredients.
This place doesn’t let you split checks.

Overall, it was just an average experience. We ordered huevos rancheros with hash browns, French toast, and a breakfast burrito. The hash browns were dry, and the drinks were just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. It’s fine for a casual breakfast, but there’s room for improvement.

We wanted a good breakfast before hitting the slopes. This is the spot! Nice portions, fast and friendly service. It had a nice, cozy atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing place. Not only is the food fantastic and the service very friendly, I want to extend a special thank you to Robert S. who was kind enough to mail me back my credit card as I was completely absent minded when I left it on the table and left town before I realized it. Thank you to everyone at the cafe. I'll look forward to the amazing Eggs Benedict again next time I'm in town!!

My brother recommended this place to me and my wife last year. We have returned several times and have been satisfied each time.
My brother encouraged us to try their Eggs Benedict, which he absolutely loves. My wife tried them and shares his sentiment.
I really like the hot peppermint tea they serve by Celestial Seasonings, based out of Boulder, CO.
I look forward to each visit.
Thank you Columbine Cafe! 🥳🎉🎉⭐️

Coming from a local, this is hands down the best breakfast in Breckenridge. Huevos rancheros are the best I’ve ever had!

We came 15 minutes early and we were greeted by a very grumpy man/chef who made us feel SO small for not realizing they opened at 7:30am. Sarcastically, he told us to read the sign, though the sign was covered and the return clock said “7am.” We left and took our buisness elsewhere!

Quaint and cozy cafe with great comfort food. Friendly and attentive service. Large portions. The southwestern baked potato was tasty. The tortilla soup was a winner. Bacon was thick and delicious. Location is a little tricky to find. The restaurant is settled back off of the main road through town.

The whole thing was nice good atmosphere great employees but the food oh man it had to be the worst I've had in a while, when we got the food plate was hot so I was like ok awesome nice warm food but no food was luke warm like c'mon at that point they just went ahead and microwave our food, it was so stale as well I'm not sure how this place has good reviews when it comes to food

This restaurant was busy during Thanksgiving, but they were efficient about getting our group of 6 in. The service was friendly & the food choices interesting. Many house made items. We enjoyed the food & the happy, busy atmosphere.

A cozy breakfast spot with amazing service! It’s like having breakfast from a movie-scene. Everyone’s happy to be there and just be lost in the ambiance.❤️

Great breakfast spot, but the biscuits in the BnG are sad. I still return, I just can’t order my favorite breakfast dish.

If I could give 0 I would, service was awful. Hashbrows were stale as if they were sitting out all morning. They charged gratuity on a party of 5, they didn’t have to push any tables together. I can definitely tell that they treated me and my family different cause we are African Americans

Came with a group of 6 and waited for about 5-10 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning. Ordered the Steak Benedict and was amazing the hash browns were great as well. Food was so good that we ended up coming for breakfast Sunday morning as well. Definitely would recommend this place.
