Earmarked this spot during the planning of our trip out west, who can pass up the highest winery in the continental US. Easy to find in Breck and well worth the effort. Great selection of local wines as well as tastings and classes on blending your own wine of which you get to keep when finished. Great vibe and service, stop in and have a glass then you can say you have been to the highest winery in the US!
I've visited Continental Divide several times in the past, but unfortunately, this most recent experience will be my last. I brought a friend for her first visit, hoping she’d enjoy it, but we were both disappointed.
We presented a BOGO coupon for a wine tasting, and from the moment we handed it over, our server seemed noticeably irritated. For a \$40 tasting, we expected not only higher-quality wine but also a better level of service. Instead, we received four one-ounce pours of red wine—most of which were barely drinkable. There was minimal explanation provided, aside from the order of the wines, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal.
We are members of several wine clubs and have had the opportunity to visit many wineries. Compared to those experiences, this one fell significantly short. The $40 per person price tag felt unjustified given the poor service and subpar wine quality.
Sadly, we won’t be returning—primarily due to the service, but also because the overall value simply wasn’t there.
Fantastic wine selections and Susan is great!
Great wine! Fun staff! Perfect for apres ski or any time. Enjoy!
I just started coming to the winery recently and I don’t know what took me so long! Michelle, Natalia and Susan are so friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I are slowly working our way through the menu to try all of the great wines. We have some favorites so far and I hope they make some more crisp whites for summer, all that oaky Chardonnay is not for me. Regardless, I am so happy I found this place in time for patio season!
I had the most amazing time at Continental Divide Winery in Breckenridge for a bachelorette celebration this weekend! The atmosphere was perfect, cozy, and inviting. The employees were fabulous from start to finish, offering personalized wine pairings and fun stories behind each pour; definitely a great staff to socialize with. We all loved the variety of wines, especially the local blends! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and celebration. If you’re looking for a great vibe, lovely wine, and friendly service I can’t recommend this place enough!
We had a great time at the winery today as always. We enjoyed white wine flights and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend going to Continental Divide for wine and snacks. Thanks for another fun afternoon!
Have been coming to Continental Divide Winery for the last few years and ALWAYS have a wonderful time. I love the staff and they are so knowledgeable. Michelle has made our wine tasting experience so enjoyable on numerous occasions. She even got us to join the wine club! Love having conversations with her over a delicious, Colorado Red wine!!! 10 stars!
Not really impressed with the wine or service.
Came for my best friends 30th birthday as a group of 6. When presenting our wine flight our server went on a VERY quick rundown on each wine. It felt rushed and our server felt annoyed. The wines were very tasty but please don't bother about snacks. Again our server didn't give us very much info about there selection and because they do not have a food license u have to unpackage your own random meats and cheeses with very to little info. We were disappointed and will probably check out a different one next time.

Great vibe, great wine. Cheers!
Loved this place. Susan knows everything about the wines and brings a whole lot of cheerful Breckenridge energy to the space. Our dog was also welcome. We both had the red wine flight and paired it with a lovely charcuterie board from The Cheese Shop across the walkway. The wine was so good, we took 4 bottles to go.
Excellent night with family, friends, friends of friends and new friends who will all be forever friends. MEMORABLE!!
We had a great time at the Continental Divide Winery! We had a flight and enjoyed the wine so much we took two bottles home.
We hosted an August Sunday morning brunch for 60 people at the CDW Barrel Room, a very well-appointed, relaxed, and comfortable venue. Michelle L. was excellent to work with, very responsive, and willing to spend time on the phone to address questions as we were arranging details from long distance. In addition to the space, CDW supplied wines, sparkling wines, and juices for mimosas and recommended an excellent caterer (Ridge Street Kitchen, see review there) for an expanded menu of brunch fare. CDW has an extensive wine selection and offered a tasting to select varieties a few days before our event. Our group of 60 fit in the Barrel Room space because we could also use the outdoor patio which accommodates 15+ people comfortably in good weather. Overall, it was a terrific event, our guests loved the location, the wines and the mimosas and we can’t thank Michelle enough for her time and effort. Great job! We will be sure to return on future trips to Breck.
