Totally not what I expected all! It has a hole in the wall feel, and everything we tried was incredible! I got the trio and chose the Lobster Bisque, Jambalaya, and Crawfish etouffee. I couldn’t decide which was best! All incredible!!

Catfish was SUPER delicious as well as the gator bites. I’m not one to eat coleslaw but it was really good! 10/10!

One of our favorite go to spots to stops when passing through Frisco. The food has always been great but we will not be stopping here anymore. The restaurant is disgustingly dirty now. The tables have that sticky greasy feel like they have not been really cleaned in years, like the floor of a KFC kitchen sticky. And the layers of dust on the lights, ceiling fans, artwork, and the t-shirts on the wall for sale are absolutely nasty. I’m sorry to have to publish this review, this use to be a 5 star spot. 2 stars is being generous with the current state.

At least, GO for the beignets!!!! Yummmm!!! I wish we had ordered more!
Service was friendly and patient, considering we walked in with 3 thirsty kids and only ordered 3 beignets. It’s appreciated when kindness is given despite the bill size.

I tried to visit this location several times over the past week, but each time the restaurant was closed even though Google listed it as open. I wasn’t able to try the food, so I can’t comment on the quality, but it would really help future customers if the business updated their hours to reflect when they’re actually open. Accurate hours go a long way, especially for travelers who plan their meals around what’s shown online.

Caleb was an amazing server! Very attentive, accommodating, and kind. Alison and Alba ( cook and prep) made AMAZING food. I loved how seasoned the food was , and it was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, hot and juicy in the inside. We had the seafood platter and shrimp poboy. Overall great experience and great food! Sending warm wishes from Florida :)

Let me preface this by saying my wife is genetically 100% Cajun ancestry and is an outstanding cook. Also, this review is limited to beignets since that’s all we ordered. We went in for an after dinner snacks because it had been awhile since we’d been back to LA and we were craving beignets.
I could tell they weren’t going to be good before I even took a bite. They were 3-4 times the size of an authentic beignet. When I took the first bite, I discovered they were hollow, air-filled pastries. More like a sopapilla than a beignet. The dough also had a bit of an odd flavor which my wife told me was sugar. The dough isn’t supposed be sweet. You have the powdered sugar for that. Overall they just were not good and certainly not authentic. Certainly makes me wonder about everything else on the menu. And note to self: never take your Cajun wife to a place that claims to be Cajun. You are just going to be disappointed.

So delish! Definitely try the beignets! I got a shrimp po boy which was very good then topped off the meal with some of the best beignets I’ve had.

Visiting from New Orleans. Feel like I’m at home! Absolutely delicious. My son can’t stop saying how much he loved the gumbo. My catfish platter 10/10. Thanks!

The people are nice. The food was ok. Our table tried a little bit of everything on the menu. The fried seafood platter was the best item out of everything
