I got to go back for a visit after moving away 15 years ago and the etouffee was just as good as I’d remembered. Wish there were more locations! The fried pickles were way too sour for my taste but still good. My fiances catfish was soooooo tender but it did need to be crispier. Still a great experience overall. I was there specifically for that etouffee and it did not disappoint.
they had opened one near rancho cucamonga california for a short time before they closed, luckily my boy reed and i had a chance to check this place out: amazing service and a great sample platter that showcases the hundreds of years old lineage with all of their culinary wizardry and those who passed down these recipies, we both ordered the shrimp gumbo and i must say it was the best gumbo i have tried here in the western part of the US. will visit again!!!
Amazing
We were walking by and saw gumbo and beignets on the sign and had to stop in and pick up some beignets.
They were delicious. They are fried in canola oil vs cotton seed oil if you have been to Cafe du Monde.
You can get them in one, three, or bites. We did the bites and they were plentiful. They also came with a side of chocolate and honey.
We really want to come back and try some of their other...
