This place is a must try! They were simply amazing from the service, to the drinks and of course the food. Everyone was super kind, and very thoughtful when they found out we were celebrating. The entire experience was such a treat. We had so much much trying their “bites,” and we were so torn between the tasting menu or just ordering from the menu of the season. You really can’t go wrong! We enjoyed every single bite- the octopus, steak, duck…everything was amazing. Beautiful presentation and wonderful flavors.
They really went above and beyond when we order one particular drink and complimented how wonderful it was. They came back with the recipe printed for us and I am so happy to have that recipe and have since made it. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart since we ate there on our wedding night and they really did phenomenal. Thank you!

My second time in Breckenridge and second time here. I never usually go to fine dining restaurants twice, but my first rootstalk experience was so good I wanted to go back. And it did not disappoint. It was our anniversary and every single staff member made sure to greet us anniversary, write us a card. as well as a generous welcome drink and dessert. Not only did they go above and beyond, but the food was just as spectacular. The chawanamushi and mafaldine are to die for. Wind and drinks are also smooth and delicious. Rootstalk has become one of my favorite restaurants. Thank you so much Rootstalk and Chef Matt Vawter!!

What a great way to spend my wife's early birthday, our 15 year wedding anniversary, and an amazing night out with childhood friends! Rob was so inviting and accommodating, and Meg is one of the best sommeliers! Such a great night!
Expert cooking. Definitely worth the stop on vacation but be advised the large plates are an extremely small serving size. The large plates reminded me of a tasting menu, multi course Michelin star restaurant but with 50+ you’d expect the large plates to be more “share-able”
