I recently dined at Salt Creek Steakhouse in Breckenridge, CO, and the experience was profoundly disappointing. Despite the establishment’s promising reputation, the food was utterly inedible. The Steaks were all fat and gristle. To make matters worse, the service was abysmal. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, leading to long waits and minimal attention to customer needs. When we addressed our concerns with the manager, we were met with indifference and rudeness rather than an attempt to resolve the issue. Overall, Salt Creek Steakhouse fell far short of expectations, and I would not recommend it based on this experience.

The place is really cool! I was expecting the best. Our waitress was also excellent but that's where the good ends. I got a $70 ribeye that I wouldn't have fed to my dog. Thin, hard to cut because of grissle, and fatty, past the fattiest of ribrye I've ever had. I sent it back only to get it's brother. Could not eat it and then got big pushback on taking it off my bill. They finally did, to their credit, but it was a tense exchange. I would avoid this place at all costs. No one in my party if 11 was happy with their food.

I believe the ribeye they serve are chuck steaks. They are incredibly tough and you need to chew quite a bit. I highly recommend you choose another steak house. The ribeye is not a ribeye.

We had a really nice time here. The steaks and pasta were delicious. The service was exceptional. It was also very reasonably priced for the quality of meal we had. Highly recommend.

Way overpriced. We had the steak and added the Oscar. The amount of lobster was a joke. It was the smallest piece of lobster I've ever seen in my life, and it was an upcharge of $20. The food was good but not worth $250 for 2 people eating one dish each.

Our waitress was very attentive and personable, gave us great recommendations when we couldn't decide what to order. The chicken dish was delicious and large. The mashed potatoes were yummy. My husband enjoyed the ribeye. It was cooked exactly how he asked for it. We will come back anytime we're in town.

Had an excellent birthday dinner at Salt Creek. Freshly baked rolls to begin our meal. The filet was superb and garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini were excellent accompaniments. The complimentary Knock Me Naked brownie topped everything off perfectly.
