Flatz Restaurant and Lounge

Love the team from Flatz! Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel for close to 3 months due to a project.

They made it feel like a second home : )

Had breakfast, lunch, and dinner almost every day during that time frame. Delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and amazing service.

Experienced a delightful brunch at Flatz! The food was excellent along with the selection. The service was good and the vibe was VERY relaxing. The pricing is incredibly reasonable and we will be back!

I brought an important client to the restaurant to discuss business. The food was terrible and overpriced. Drinks were good. I will go elsewhere for client meetings, and I will not go back fir personal dinners either. This was a similar experience from a year ago and I thought I would give Flatz a second chance. It was a mistake.

My wife, son, and myself had breakfast at Flatz each morning of our 5 night stay. Our server Sofia was fantastic and after the first morning knew our drink order before we sat down. We also had lunch at Flatz one day and it was very good. Everything was fresh and done very well.

It was an emotional and crazy college move weekend for the family. The Flatz was convenient for breakfast to help us get prepared for the long day ahead. Food was good, atmosphere was good, and the service was great. Sofia was so kind and patient with our requests and she served us with a smile. What a great way to start any day. Thanks, Sofia, for sharing your kindness while serving us.

Very impressive for a hotel restaurant. The waitstaff is excellent but a little understaffed. Food is really good and bar is great!

I sit here writing this review 50 minutes after arriving. Took 30 minutes to be seated (there wasn’t a line…just no staff). Afterwards we were basically abandoned outside. Once again no staff. Whoever the general manager is should be embarrassed. I won’t even show the food. A better representation of my experience is this wait to be seated sign.

Sofia took good care of us for three days during our stay at the hotel. She is sweet and very kind. I could easily rate here 120 over 100.

After a huge flop at a different restaurant, we came back to our hotel in hopes we'd get something good (and warm) to eat. Aliana ended up being our waitress and made the whole night a million times better. From her recommendations, her awesome personality, her incredible service, and one of the best old fashioned I've had in awhile, she turned the night around. You guys are lucky to have such a great member on your team. If you go here, request to get seated with her, you won't be disappointed!!

I don’t know who trained the PM bartender Alina but she needs some serious training. Rude, doesn’t know a basic cocktail recipes, and leave a full bar unattended. Who puts lemonade in a margarita? Who questions you on how to make a rum and coke? Do not recommend for a quick drink during your stay.

Love love love this place! The Staff is amazing! Definitely should at least give it a try, not everyone likes the same stuff in do but highly recommend!

Our small group came for happy hour at 4pm. The cocktails and appetizers listed on the HH menu were limited but delicious. Place was mostly empty, so you can have conversations with minimum noise. Service was good as well.
I hope they do well and keep the place open.
