The employee I spoke with was nice and I was excited to pick up dinner. Two sandwiches for $40?! I did tip 12% but still I felt that was steep so I was expecting the food to be delicious. The opposite was true. Soggy messy garbage! So mad I wasted the money. Shame to have Brooklyn in your name. I bet they are ashamed to be associated with you.

A side of coleslaw comes in a 3 oz cup? What is this a sample?

Obviously the best sandwich you’ve ever had, but also the sweetest people. I am so happy I came in today! Can’t wait to be back. The art in the shop is gorgeous btw too, very unexpected. Hope you all have a beautiful day, thx for the food and cheer 💞

Online menu prices were 30% lower than actual prices.

They also messed up my order….

Almost as good as your local Chuck E. Cheese! (And 18$ for a BLT on a bagel, be so for real.)

The sandwich I had today was the most remarkable I had in 30 years!!! The service was very smooth and friendly, perfect for my late lunch. I ordered a Philly stake, and I can't tell you enough good about it. The meat, the melted cheese, the vegetables! But what made this sandwich my favorite in 30 years are the peppers the restaurant uses. In Spanish cuisine are called MORRONES. They are the top of the quality and enhance the flavor ten times over. I know because I haven't had good ones in that long, and as soon as I tuk a bit, my senses exploded. They have a lot of complementary flavor, they are not spicy, they are just smooth and rich. They are so good that you can eat them by the ton and you can taste every other ingredient in the sandwich. I don't know how they got the super good stuff, but the whole sandwich was an amazing experience. Again, everything else was excellent as well. I can't wait for more.

Won’t be back.
I ordered a $13.99 sandwich.
I added bacon and upgraded from a bag of Lays chips to Ms Vikki’s.
At the register I was charged $25…
Absolutely outrageous.
How does $11 come from bacon and a bag of chips???
I feel like I got mugged.

Heidi’s has my favorite sandwhich ever: the Cajun crab cake. It’s a sandwhich full of delicious crab meat, onions, spicy Cajun sauce, and lettuce. I seriously get cravings for this sandwhich and it simply cannot be replicated elsewhere.
I also am seeing all of these awful comments towards this family owned business and I am not here for it. As a person who worked for a family owned business for over 4 years, I understand sometimes the struggle to maintain upkeep that’s required for a restaurant; however, the one thing that has never faltered is the quality of this sandwhich. If you’re ever craving crab cake, I’d highly recommend giving Heidi’s crab cake sandwhich a shot.

Philly Steak sandwich was bland meat flavorless and tasted like refrigerator stored. Store appeared to be dirty and women's restroom was filthy. Used to be a great place to get a sandwich. Won't be returning.

First and last time visiting a Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli.

I stopped in here for a quick afternoon snack. I asked about ordering a kids size something and the employee told me they offered grilled cheese and PB&Js or that I could get a half sandwich of anything. Because I was just looking for a little snack I opted for the grilled cheese. The HALF grilled cheese. One slice of sourdough bread and one slice of cheese…

When I got to the register I was shocked to find that my total was $9! The man I assume was the manager asked me what I had expected to or wanted to pay. I told him I figured a half grilled cheese would be around $4. Right? He laughed a told me I was living in another century…that I was from 1987. And that they don’t sell sandwiches like that…

IMO a HALF grilled cheese hardly counts as a “sandwich.”

To make matters worse, the “sandwich,” which I immediately opened in my car was entirely soggy and disgusting. I took one bite and threw it away.

Perhaps their other sandwiches are good but please don’t ever order the grilled cheese unless you want an over-priced POC.

We ordered delivery from Heidi’s and it was very disappointing. My son is gluten free, so we ordered his French dip on GF bread. It was tiny, and one side was the heel end of the bread. It had one slice of beef in it. Cost $15. What a joke.
Just to make this order even more fun, the container they put the au jus in leaks. They clearly know that since they crudely wrapped it in foil. It spilled all over the bag, including on to my egg salad sandwich. I don’t eat beef. Gross.
I feel bad for the delivery driver, who must have gotten beef juice in their car.
If this was the last of their GF bread, they should have contacted me and said they were out.

$13-15 for a sandwich. They were smaller than a subway 6". Extremely thin, very little meat, and lacking flavor. Felt like a sandwich you would pick up at a gas station. Save your self and go to snarfs for the same price.

I went to get lunch. Half tuna sandwich, soup. They charged me for a whole sandwich. The tuna sandwich had no flavor, it tasted sweet. The potatoe salad also had no flavor, no pepper, salt or mustard. Very bland. I ordered a cup of soup. They ran out of small soup to go containers. And I noticed they were rapidly putting my soup in a huge container. I was very disappointed, this is not a real deli.

Sandwiches are awful. The hot sandwiches are cooked in a microwave. Incredibly expensive too.

Very good sandwiches, they make their bread every day from SCRATCH. Unheard of in the restaurant industry these days. And their meats are all high quality; nitrate-free, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free. Absolutely amazing in today’s day and age. Definitely a good, healthy, & tasty choice compared to the other mega sandwich chains out there. The staff is always friendly and nice and I met the owners they’re great people too.

Side note: I don’t even like potato salad, hate the stuff actually. But theirs is the best I’ve ever had in my life.

Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich and whatever else insufferable vegans eat

Dietary restrictions: Many options.

Parking: Tons of very close parking

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible access. Double Handicap right in front.
