Just moved to Broomfield and this was our first Dinner here.Amazing
Great atmosphere, fun staff and the hush puppies were amazing. We had a small issue with the cook on a steak, but the manager noticed it almost almost before we did and fixed it. Very impressed.
Nathan was so kind!

We went to Hickory & Ash for my birthday, and WOW we were so impressed! Kyle was our server, and he went out of his way to make us feel special and paced the meal beautifully. From the wine recommendations to the dishes, we were so happy with all of our choices. We ordered the short ribs, glazed pork chop, and a wedge salad. All DELIGHTFUL. Ended the meal with a PB&J bar which was also delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the food.

I attended this place for a work event and dinner and it was some of the most incredible, decadent food I have ever had. They offered a special menu for us and our group and everything looked amazing! The service was wonderful and everyone was so kind.

Drinks always take took long to get out. The food overall was very good EXCEPT the Filet my wife had, it was a little puck on her plate. There was no moisturize to the meat. Lastly, it was her birthday and they stuck us at a table in the middle. It would have been nice if we were not in the high traffics zone.

Great meal and service. Despite being in the middle of a full restaurant, noise level was good, which is hard to find these days.

I have always been a fan of this restaurant, but both of our dishes were overly salted. My companion returned hers, then ordered another dish, which was also very salty. I also am not happy about the dining surcharge, which I know some restaurants are doing. The price of my entree was $32 and then a 4 percent surcharge was added to the entire bill. My meal was not worth that price.

Had a wonderful meal at the bar! David and Chow took wonderful care of us! The food was excellent, and the service was above and beyond! We’ll definitely be back!

I had the filet mignon and brussels sprouts. Both were mediocre at best. I was disappointed.

Love this place! The food is really good, but I sometimes feel like it misses the mark a little compared to the price. That being said, we go here a lot and the cocktails are great! The bar tenders are fun, and the atmosphere is nice. If they just invested a little more effort into their menu, I think it would be a solid 5/5 for me.

I was really disappointed with how my fiance and I were made to feel while dining at this restaurant. We were in Denver on business and decided to venture out to try something just outside of the city. It took quite some time to get service from the bar since we didn’t have reservations. However while seated at the bar, the manager went all around us asking others seated at the bar was everything ok but completely ignored us being the only black couple in the restaurant at the time. It was obvious and blatant that we were being ignored. Our service was mediocre and we did not feel welcome. My fiancé enjoyed the lamb but I did not enjoy my entree. Overall not a good experience.

We celebrated our anniversary here; the staff was so warm and professional. Excellent food, very high quality for a reasonable price

This place has been our go to for years. We often planned our date nights here. We moved further away but still drove over. We love the steak Tartare We really enjoyed sitting at the bar, meeting new people, chatting with the bar staff that we had come to know. It has changed. The last 3-4 times we have gone it's all new faces on the staff. It's been close to empty and just lacking the fun friendly vibe they used to have. The food is still really yummy but that's about all now. The staff was friendly with each other but not customer centric like it used to be. My fiancé said as we left last night; “looks like we need to find a new place” I'm sad. We really don't have many nice places in the norther suburbs.

Love hickory & ash! Good environment and always good food and cocktails. Recommend if you’re in the area!

I'm done with H&A. Last night was my third visit over the course of 18 months. I knew the moment I walked in we would not be having a good evening as there were 7 large parties. We were escorted to our table in the back room with 3 large parties, and I had a bad feeling our server was responsible for the entire room which turned out to be true. It took a long time just to get water; we never received any bread; there was no bread served with the mussels; the extra asparagus we ordered was never delivered; it took a long time for our water to be refilled; and it took 90 minutes to receive our meal. Not the server's fault, but rather the fault of management not to properly manage the number of large parties one server had to accommodate. It would have been nice had the restaurant informed me of the potential delays when I made the reservation.

Also, the menu hasn't changed in months and months and is very stale.

There is no need for me to go back.

While our waiter did a good job of giving us some history on the menu, he also said his favorite meal was the Sweet Tea Infused Pork Chop. I asked if it was bone in and tender. He said yes to both. It was not tender, the knife could barely cut it and it was chewy. I pointed that our to our waiter and even showed how it cut. After we agreed, he asked the kitchen to remake it. What was sent out was a smaller and thinner version, still hard to cut and chewy. The sides were just reheated and placed on the plate. My husband enjoyed his salmon and sides. I should have remembered by self advise that pork chops made in a restaurant are rarely tender. We may go back to this restaurant for another special occasion.
