Almost five stars out of five, because they give me coney dogs that are just the way I like them! And just the way I used to get 'em when I was a kid. But taking away a star, for now at least, because I am less happy in trying to get a char-grilled dog. I've tried twice and both times been a bit disappointed. Hey, I will try again - after all, the menu is miles long with lots of variables. So many appealing choices! Maybe I just haven't landed on the right spot...
Just stumbled into this place today when I pulled into the Plaza to get some groceries, and I am so glad that I did. The place is extremely welcoming, both guys working saying what's up as soon as I walked in and you're met with a gigantic menu on the wall.
Asked for a favorite and the guy working the register said he was a huge fan of the Italian beefy boi (yes chef). I went with his rec, and it was the best I've tried outside of the windy city....

Snarfs ain’t got nothin’ on this place! Everyone run to this sandwich spot! Seriously the best sandwiches we’ve had in ages. I got the Rickey (chicken salad) and my husband got the Pig-which incident (KC bbq). They were both delicious and great portion sizes. 10/10, 100% recommend this place!
