Who doesn’t like a good buffet? Staying at the hotel and thought we’d try it. Omelette station was great, variety of options to choose from.
The bacon of course was bacon, pick from different cook levels and enjoy.
Potatoes were good, not great, but good. A little plain, no specific flavor to stand out like if they were seasoned.
The fruit and muffins were really good. Fresh and flavorful.
Coffe was pretty good too, no sweetener or milk added and the aroma and taste were what you’d want for a first cup.
Everyone was very friendly, from the greeting as we walked in, got seated, served and left.
We’ll eat here again since we are here multiple days

Had breakfast here this morning 4/28/24.All was well except for the coffee. I found it bitter. Sugar didn't help.

Nothing like being in a very friendly place! We stayed a few days at Omni Hotel and went to Meritage for breakfast. Our server, Sami, was wonderful! She made me feel like home, and the food was very good. Way to go Sami!

Those who know me also know that I frequently post about food and restaurants. I have never posted a negative review or comment before. Only one such experience has occurred before, but that was a restaurant that previously had always provided superb food and service. They likely still do.While on this trip to Denver, during a stay at the elegant Omni Interlocken Hotel, I was surprised by a negative experience. The experience in trying to have breakfast at the only moderately busy Meritage in the Omni Interlocken Hotel was disappointing to the degree we walked out after waiting 10 minutes for a server and 35 minutes for a simple omelet and an even simpler Colorado breakfast. Neither of which arrivedWe canceled the order and left. Perhaps we should have opted for the pathetic $25 per person breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and one beverage - either coffee or juice. I think not!All of that being said, I believe it was understaffing of servers, but especially the kitchen staff. We were told by a server that they had a lot of tickets backed up in the kitchen and was very apologetic for our experience. It is a kitchen that serves both restaurants on premises, but only one restaurant was open. It apparently also served the poolside bar.I did stop at the front desk and share my dissatisfaction with the protracted time for the breakfast and attributed it to the perceived understaffing. We eventually went out to the pool where we experienced much better service for a simple hamburger and bottled water by a very pleasant and accommodating server, a young lady named Jade. It did take a while for the burger, but poolside affords more to do that watching other patrons waiting for their breakfasts as well. The Omni Hotel website states, “Experience matters here.” I hope somebody at Omni Interlocken Hotel management in Broomfield, CO or national sees this post and we will see if experience matters. It is a beautiful hotel and it and those who stay there deserve better.

Had breakfast here twice. The oatmeal was good and the fruit plate was outstanding. A side of multi-grain toast is also recommended. Our server was very attentive.
Nice experience

Seems like it’s hit or miss with the service at this place. We had a miss. Had to wait over an hour to get our food and at least twenty minutes for drinks. And it was not busy. Thankfully for them we were hanging out with friends who were staying there or we would have left before the food came out. Everything is overpriced.

Spent a week at the Omni and ended up eating breakfast at Meritage every morning. We were on East Coast time, so maybe we missed the morning rush. Food was delicious, especially the bagels and small croissants. And our server Kyle was excellent and also extremely personable. It was a highlight of our day!
I only ate here one time. The Colorado Breakfast was good. I took off a star because the waiter dropped my toast on the table then proceeded to ask if I wanted another slice. When he returned, it was burnt and I had to scrape it in order to eat the toast.
Excellent Setting - Quiet, Peaceful, Quaint - Great Food and Service!

Thank you, Kyle for taking such good care of me. Great service and really good food. If only the lady at the nearby table would get off her phone. (Shhh! Stop talking so loud)
The worst service known to mankind. One poor waiter waiting on 6 tables apologizing to everyone for the slow service. Guys with his two kids next to me never got their meal. My daughters fruit plate was really sad looking for 10 dollars.
Awesome food, very kind employees, always fantastic ambience. They charge fair prices and the food quality is great. 5 stars.
I had a brunch buffet with my husband and friends. Service was good, place is clean, food was ok for the price. Some pancakes was hard as a rock.
Excellent location for tasty american food. This place is absolutely one of my favorites. The staff was helpful and kind. Prices were reasonable.
