The place is fun and the food is amazing.The homemade tator tots are delicious!The food really is more than expected from a bar.They smoke brisket and all the favorites BQ lovers will really enjoy this Broomfield treasure.The staff is on it!They are all super friendly and on point.Old Man Bar has an outdoor area with a huge TV, a nice fire pit, and plenty of parking!I love this place!
Overall 3.5 stars. Service was friendly and food was hot and fresh. Place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked on the tables. The reason for the lower rating was for the beer selection and brisket quality.Two beers I wanted were out and overall nothing too unique, even on the rotator. I settled for a coke, which I love and was happy they had on fountain.I ordered the brisket sandwich with the queso. The queso was absolute FIRE, the bun was soft, and the smoked jalepenos were good. Oh and the onion ring batter was also very very good. But the brisket was mediocre at best, very tough and poor quality. Found myself just picking the sandwich apart to be able to eat it. For me this weighs heavy on my rating with this being a BBQ joint.If I’m the neighborhood again, I may choose something else but would give it another try.

My fiancé and I are new to CO, we swung by here for lunch not knowing what to expect and were happily surprised. The smoked wings were on point and the tater tots were very original and delicious. Our bartender Lexy was very welcoming and gave us great service as well. Can’t wait for our next visit to the Old

Came here for a work happy hour. I'm embarrassed to say, I've driven by many times and had folks recommend before but this was my first time here.Before I write any more I want to say the everyone who had been there before were sad about the lack of fried okra. I hear it was epic and I'm (we all are) missing out. Bring back fried okra!Service was good and it was legit busy. If you wanted faster service, ya go to the bar, kind of like any establishment like this - but either way service is good.Got food to go mostly because it smelled amazing in there. It was ready quickly. Got some brisket and turkey. Tasty stuff for sure. I can't wait to go back.Edit: So I ate everything. The texas toast was oddly super delicious (even though only toasted on one side which is usually a cardinal sin, but like I said, works here and I wouldn't change it). The meat was fantastic and worth it.The beans and potato salad were really disappointing though. The beans were way over caramelized, having a gross bitter flavor that overpowered everything. The potato salad was under done potato wise and very bland. Hopefully just an off night. Wouldn't stop me from going back.
This bar has good atmosphere and the patio adds for a good summer night. The food however is not their forte, unfortunately when we received the food it was cold. The smoked wings have a great taste . We also got a 1/4 lb brisket for my son which was pretty fatty and i was not very please about that , I am however pleased that they made the effort to correct his, therefore changed my rating!

I could never say no to the tots here. They posses some magical deliciousness. The riblets are also amazing. We enjoy having beer and watching games here. Sometimes the music is a little too hip for us oldies but still our go-to place.
