Proto's Pizza | Broomfield

When we arrived we were able to sit quickly and ordered drinks and a salad with out waiter who was also a bartender. That was the last time he came to our table. Three other groups arrived and he took their drink orders and food orders without checking on us. We tried flagging him down a few time but were not able to get his attention for 55 minutes making our total time there 1 hour and 20 minutes. Yes, we counted, we have a baby and are on a strict schedule which is why we had allotted so much time to eat... When he finally came to our table again we asked how long the pizza would take if we ordered and he said at least 25 minutes. That wad not feasable for us so we had to leave without even trying the pizza. This was our first and likely last time trying.

We have ordered pizza for take out from this place a couple of times and the pizza is SO good.

Love the food here, but unfortunately had a not great experience last night. Our server Kaiya was not very friendly. We ordered a few cocktails and she brought a refill and didn’t give it to the person who ordered it, just set it on the edge of the table, in front of a recovering alcoholic, who mistakenly drank it thinking it was water (it was vodka and sprite and had no garnish or indication it was alcohol).
we also ordered 3 pizzas and another server accidentally dropped one on the ground when bringing it to our table (which was not a big deal at all accidents happen), and Kaiya was just bad mouthing her for doing that to everyone around when it was clearly an accident. Didn’t get any plates, silverware, or napkins for our entire meal.
When we finished our pizzas we asked to order some dessert, and she just said “no we’re closed”. A heads up a little bit before closing would have been nice, to get a chance to order dessert before the kitchen closed.
The food here really is great, and we just moved in up the street and were excited to be able to walk down for dinner and drinks, but we unfortunately probably won’t be back after this experience.

I love their gluten free crust and fun atmosphere.

Ordered a cheese pizza to go got to the restaurant and a lady working just kept watching me stand there for 15+ minutes before I got to ask for my order and she was sitting there folding boxes watching me. When I got the pizza home half the crust was missing and the pizza was burnt for how expensive this pizza is I can’t believe this is the quality you get could order dominos and get a better pizza. Family was very disappointed in the service and food we were unable to eat half the pizza because how burnt the bottom was we will be ordering else where from now on.

They lose stars in my books because they apply a few percent of “kitchen something fee”

Understandable, but it catches me by surprise when I look at the receipt. Would it be possible to increase prices instead? After all, many workers have PTO, it's part of compensation

Went first time to try out Pizza and was disappointed. Ordered Margarita Pizza and White Pies pizza , crust was fine both pizza but tomato were canned once in margarita pizza. Should be fresh tomato and cheese was not melted all the way and had only few pieces of cheese, spending that much amount on pizza and didn’t get enough ingredients …. Don’t know will go again or recommend to anyone.

As a HUGE fan of Protos since 2007, even though I haven't signed in since those OG days, I am absolutely blown away that not only is this location up to the standards of what I demanded back then, it's above and beyond.

My new favorite.

Healthy food, good food, fresh food and friendly staff.
Today I had the tuna salad, it was delicious 😋
It's hard to find good food when you're travelling. I recommend this place.
