This is the BEST and ONLY authentic Chicago style Deep Dish around. This is way better than Giordano’s downtown, and you don’t have to step over homeless people or drug dealers to eat here.
It’s a quaint place to dine-in, but they offer carry-out as well (although the deep dish is best eaten dine-in). They also have an outdoor patio. Unlike most restaurants, the friendly owners (Upi and Angel) are actually there, on-site, to maintain quality and take your order with a smile. Great place

It is family owned and they are very polite, kind and just want you to enjoy yourself while you’re there. Looks like Italy inside. A tad bit on the pricey end big well worth it! We def will continue to come back.

Looks like they recently underwent a change in management from other reviews. We dined in, and really wish we could have taken advantage of the patio, but unfortunately it's November :( The food arrived promptly. The beef, fries, and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh and our sandwiches were plated well. Everything was delicious. The beef is authentic to an Italian Beef and sliced really thinly (Vs say a French Dip or Roast Beef sando). Their giardiniera was way hot in a good way. Suited my taste. Portions were standard. It had been some hours since I had lunch, and still left full. We will be returning for some pizza soon. I feel this crew and this restaurant deserve better than a 3.8 rating. If you're near the plaza, be sure to stop in and have a bite.

Ordered Chopped Salad w/ Rosati’s Sweet Italian Dressing, Hawaiian Chicago pizza, and a plain Deep Dish Pizza.
The salad and dressing were very good and light. The Chicago style Hawaiian pizza was nice and crispy without any sogginess messing up the crust.
The Deep Dish pizza was absolutely amazing with homemade sauce on the top. The deep dish crust wasn’t doughy at all and baked to perfection. The crust was more flaky like biscuit dough and the crunch was the perfect compliment to the sauce and cheese on it.
I’m writing this 2 hours after stuffing myself silly and I don’t feel greasy or bloated at all, unlike some of the pizza from your usual chains.
Only downside is you will have to wait a bit, roughly 30 minutes especially for the deep dish, but trust me the wait is well worth it!
