Had a fantastic meal! We'd definitely go again if we're in Buena Vista. Staff was great as well!! Highly recommend.

When I entered with my family, I was told to wait a minute by a server. The restaurant was nearly empty and no one was in front of us. We waited 5 minutes, during which time a man seated himself at the bar and was provided with a menu, and I was told by another server that we'd be helped shortly. We waited another 3 minutes and continued to not be seated. We then left and went across the street to the other breakfast diner where we were promptly seated and served.

Food was good, not great. Their green chili wasn’t chili but more like a tomatillo non spicy sauce. Service friendly but not efficient. Probably wouldn’t eat here again, though.

The gals at the front very nice. Food was great. I'll be back!

Best breakfast I have ever eaten! Great customer service, quick to get you seated and food out to you warm. I had the Avocatini Sandwich deconstructed with a side of hashbrowns....YUMMMMMM

My wife and stopped in today not knowing what to expect. Primarily breakfast items but great selection. I had an awesome chorizo omelette and my wife had French toast. Good portions and great taste. Prices very reasonable, especially for a tourist town. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Grabbed breakfast here on a weekend. Good options and good flavors. Right off 24 in the town of Buena Vista. Several gluten free options. We sat on patio but inside looked fun. Small counter with an old school diner feel.

Bread + Salt has a very unique menu with options you probably haven't seen before for breakfast and lunch. And they hit the nail on the head the couple times I went here. I got the pulled pork with hollandaise sauce the first time and it was so good. The second time I asked if they could make it into a breakfast burrito and that was extremely good as well. Service is very friendly here as well.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim and had a pleasant experience. Service was friendly and pretty quick and the food was great! My pork sandwich was generous in size and unlike every other pork sandwich on this week long trip through Colorado mountain towns it had lots of pork taste on a crispy toasted bun. My wife’s butternut soup was great and our salads fresh and crisp.

Happy place. Excellent food. Wonderful waitstaff. Inviting. Didn’t want to leave. If you want a five star menu in a little bitty town do yourself a favor and eat at Bread + Salt. GF/DF options too!

Pleasant restaurant on highway 24 just north of main street. Dining for breakfast I'm not a egg person so I got hash browns with the poblano green Chile over the top and a (perfectly) toasted bagel. They get their preserves from a maker in Palisade CO and it was lovely. The green Chile was extremely mild. My dining partner had the 3 2 1 and he enjoyed it. Sunny place to enjoy a meal.

Delicious food with a diner feel. A lot of awesome options on the menu- from french toast to Chilaquiles, it made it hard to decide what to get! Great coffee, too. Can't wait to come back.

Decent place for breakfast. We have eaten here several times including under the previous owner. Friendly with a few tables outside as well as at the bar and inside. Fast service and good cooking.. Nothing to complain about here.
