Don't waste your time here, much better food elsewhere. Called ahead to see if they could accommodate our large group they said no problem. When we get there they wait to when we order food to tell us they are literally out of 99% of the menu. There is only one item we can all order. So we left to wait 30 min longer at Eddyline, best decision ever, food over there was amazing. Would travel to Buena Vista just to go there. Skip this place.

I would drive 60 miles and go to Florence before eating here again. I have waited 30min there to eat and wouldn’t wait 10 for this poor quality of prime rib. The old fashioned I couldn’t drink it. They must have been out of bitters so they muddled the cherry and orange in the same glass they served it in. Florence doesn’t do things this way. This explains no lines here in buena vista.

Last time I was here, it smelt like cigarettes and bleach and I didn't even eat here I left before being served. Meh overall

It was a very bleak experience, the odors in the establishment were foul, again it smelt like bleach and cigarettes in there. I never claimed smoking was occuring here, it just smelled like it, yknow? Also the chemically bleach smell isnt fun too, doesnt exactly signal to me a good eating experience.
If your desire to eat and the hygiene involved is dependent on the food alone when eating out, then you could equally order take out and eat on the floor of a gas station parking lot right? If the food is good, why complain about the smells? The atmosphere?
Not to mention, someone even complained about us leaving as we did instead of seeking out understanding as to WHY we were leaving, its all comes off a bit selfish to me, from my experience to this half hearted excuse of an attempt to invalidate and blame me for what they had to offer.

This place is trash!!!! We went for prime rib night, party of 9. The food came out cold and underwhelming, baked potato (which was the only side option) was days old and who knows how many times it was reheated, black in the inside. My brother ordered the 20 oz. And it came out with a big string of fatty meat under the steak to try and make it 20oz. This place was pitiful and only offered a small discount after the whole table complained. What a WASTE OF MONEY!!!! Don’t eat here!!!!

Food was downright terrible. Probably the worst food I have ever had. It actually made me physically ill. Hair in the salad, prime rib was cold & overcooked, and the baked potato was burnt. How do you mess up the only thing that you are serving for the night!? After complaining, the cook/manager wouldn’t even come out and speak to us. Never again!

I took my family here last night and thought it would be just as good as the Leadville location. However, the Buena Vista location is not on par. We all ordered prime rib and much of it came out overcooked and not cooked to order. Some of the prime rib was cold! They couldn’t even heat it up correctly. You would think that if the only thing you’re serving is prime rib it would be fresh, but that is not the case here Quincy’s must be experiencing its death nell because the owner and chef wouldn’t even come out and own up to the fact that she served us dog food. Then when we complained about the food, we were only given a measly 20% off the bill. The servers are run ragged and there’s not enough people to service the restaurant. There was a piece of hair in my salad. The baked potatoes had been cooked days ago and came out brown on the inside.

We have eaten at many of the other Quincy's. We were staying in Salida on our way to Ouray. Buena Vista was the closest Quincy's steak. I can honestly say, this was the best filet mignon! It was the most tender and flavorful filet that I have had. Heather, our waitresses was excellent! We never lacked and she was an excellent guide on near by city attractions.

Prime Rib ordered Rare was served Medium to well. Baked potato Was strange almost like it was boiled in a gravy as it was brown in color not as a normal Baked potato. Tasted Strange also. Salad was strange no lettuce but other greens. Prime Rib tough and tasted old.
Always love Quincy’s first time at this location but the food was great and the atmosphere is perfect!

Went in on a filet night and had 2x perfectly cooked steaks, great baked potato and tasty bread. Service was amazing.
Sadly didn't take any pictures because we dove into the steak immediately because it looked that amazing
