We stopped in while driving through and am so glad we did! Really nice staff and amazing food. We got soup, pasta, sandwhich and dessert. Everything was great but oh man, that curry soup 👌 all I can say is, I wish we lived closer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got the saddest $14 house salad to-go. Can't believe they got rid of the Greek salad for the 'house salad' a bag salad mix, 4 tiny pieces of croutons, a whisper a shredded cheese, and not even a full boiled egg. The bread you get is usually amazing, but this time I got a flavorless slice of mystery bread that was dense and gummy. Service was amazing though.

Not as good as it used to be.
This place used to have good food and it used to be a great stop on the way through the mountain down south.
Beautiful spot, delicious looking bakery and food with some other mountain themed stuff like clothes and souvenirs.
On the last stop though the food was couple notches below what it used to be. The fish was dry, veggies bland and tasteless and the taste palette was weird. The pasta was not good, we even asked for a replacement, and even though that was somewhat better tasting, it was still not the greatest.
The bread looked wonderful, but after a few bites it was just a white fluff. Other breads we got with the food we tried in there were much better, so I quess this bread was just a fluke.
Overall I must admit we will be going somewhere else next time we go by, and it will be some time before we will give this place another chance.

Very good food at this place. The place is also a bakery so all of their bread appears to me made there. The full sandwich with a side of a ton of food. I had the Cuban sandwich, it was really good and tasted fresh and delicious. The side salad I got was a house salad and I would just suggest an extra side of ranch. This place has a great patio area with some outdoor games too. Would comeback for sure if and when I am in the area.

I come in often and the food and service are always great. The bowl of soup I got today, however, was pretty much just chili's and broth with no chicken or beans. After the wait, I'm disappointed. It tasted great but I'm still hungry.

Food takes forever, service is terrible, burgers are pretty small, overpriced for what you get. Although the mountain gear store they share the building with is quite good. It took a very long time to have the food served, only when they advised what we've ordered to my daughter was not available, already paid, so we adapted changing the order, only to get another 40min for a grilled cheese and a Mac I'm cheese after having to ask for it twice.

Surprised by the restaurant and the service: dropped in for takeout into what seems to be an outdoor outfitter.. which it is, but one that shares space with a counter service restaurant.
We arrived during a surprise rush. Food was great, staff was extremely excellent managing the rush. Food was solid and affordable, staff was friendly and great.

We ordered the chicken club with the half harvest salad (yes, you pick the half salad of your choice - revolutionary) and my bf ordered the elk burger with the side of the carrot coconut soup.
We ate outside and savored every bite. Best chicken club I’ve ever had.
Great staff and great breads and delicious meals too! Awesome experience! The best part of the Simple Eatery is the combination of the affordable prices and the high quality of the breads and meals! Thank you so much !

Chicken pot pie …. Off the charts!!! Whaaaaaat!? Peas tasted fresh, not soggy. Carrots, perfection! Dough …. I cannot sing high enough praise for this light beautiful flaky dough on this brilliant chicken pot pie!

As someone with celiac disease I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone with any sensitivities. They advertise being allergy friendly but have made me sick several times.
