Midland Stop is a fabulous coffee shop and snack spot with an amazing staff! My son got married at the Surf Hotel on November 9, 2024, and during our eight-day stay, my husband and I stopped in every morning for coffee and a bite to eat. Jen, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She serves delicious coffees at reasonable prices, and the shop is conveniently located just steps away from the Surf Hotel. Jen went above and beyond by allowing my son and his new wife to host a send-off for their wedding guests. On November 10, 2024, everyone who attended the wedding was treated to coffee and breakfast snack before heading out. It was such a memorable event. I can't recommend Midland Stop enough. We hosted our send-off breakfast at The Midland Stop the morning after our wedding, and it was perfect! This cute little coffee shop has amazing breakfast burritos and delicious baked goods that all of our guests loved. Jenny, the owner, was so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. She and her team handled our 100+ guests seamlessly, getting everyone's orders out quickly without a hitch.
Our guests were big fans of The Midland Stop—many of whom had visited several times over the weekend and were just as impressed on the day of the send-off. The cozy atmosphere and top-notch service made the morning special for all of us. If you’re looking for a charming spot with fantastic food and excellent service, The Midland Stop is the way to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this special moment!

We were in town for a wedding and visited EVERY morning for our coffee and breakfast! The scones were unreal!!! We had a cranberry almond, maple, blueberry, and chai- all incredible! Breakfast burritos and egg bites were phenomenal as well, but those scones turned some of our savory lovers into sweet breakfast people!

Iced white chocolate caramel latte with maple cold foam. Might be the best coffee I’ve ever had!
Breakfast burritos were great as well. Mild green salsa was a nice kick.
The coffee was excellent, but the next day ot wasn’t open. There is no sign of hours on the door, they seem to open when they want. The google hours are wrong, it says 6:30, but at 8:30 on a Tuesday it wasn’t opened. We were a few to wait at the door…
Always best to be clear with customers on the door and on google My business.

Had a quick breakfast here. Highlight is the outdoor seating with view of the mountains and the constant sound of the nearby white waters.
House-made granola with craisins and Greek yogurt was tasty and well made and cortado was good. Even though there were quite a few customers with only one person working, she was friendly, fast, and efficient.
