Stopped here for dinner as we were passing through the area and the staff was very kind and caring. Food was great. We really liked the atmosphere here. Definitely a place to come back to.
Lovely find awhile traveling across America... I'm a veteran and I found them randomly on Google maps, and didn't realize it was a VA post! One of the best atmospheric posts I've been to, the food was amazing, and the staff super friendly. Stop by and support them if you can.
I was passing through on i-70. This is about 2 minutes off the exit. It's a VFW with a helicopter in the parking lot. I saw a review about the chicken fried steak so I decided to try the country fried steak and eggs. It was in the top three of chicken fried steak that I've eaten, I asked for well done hash browns and they were perfectly well done. Eggs over easy were cooked perfectly. Service was fast and good. It was a really good meal for under 19 bucks. ...
