She was detail oriented, frequent enough to feel taken care of, but never rushed.

Service was extremely slow be prepared for a 2 hour dinner especially if you order dessert. Food was just OK. Not great. Creekside dining was the best part.

Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill over the past couple of years. I’ve been there dozens of times and it’s always been hot or miss, but these days, it’s a consistent miss. Service is almost always bad but the food has been pretty great! That is no longer the case. Today I went in for a slice of cake to go. Went in, ordered it, paid for it, and left a tip. Only to sit there, and sit there, and sit there. After a little over 20 minutes I asked about how much longer to expect a slice of cake to go to take. Hostess went back to check on it and said there were still seven food orders ahead of me and it would likely be another 30 minutes. So 50 minutes for a slice of cake to go??? Hostess was very nice about it, and it definitely was not her fault, but good lord, 50 minutes for a slice of cake to go. Come on guys, lucky that you rely on tourists passing through. No need to worry about repeat customers I suppose.

I was a little disappointed in the food. My meal (for just me) cost almost $40 and I only ate the trout fillet. My sides were mashed potatoes and vegetables. The mashed potatoes were not thick. They were like boxed mashed potatoes. Very thin. The vegetables were the Normandy blend. It seemed like they took them straight from the freezer bag and sautéed them. The trout fillet was the only good part. It tasted wonderful. I don’t think I would go back because it’s a lot of money and most of my food was wasted.

Kae was an absolutely awesome server! She sat us at a table by the creek after we asked to move to a different table. She recommended some great options for drinks and food, and all around we had such a good time. We will definitely be coming back!

Right off the bat, the food is okay. Think pretty good food at a nice hotel/resort but for half the price of said hotel. The food is fine, it's not bad but it's not outstanding in any certain terms. The food is OKAY.
Service WAS outstanding though, had a reservation and was sat immediately. All the staff was on their game and very friendly.
Atmosphere is just unbeatable, being next to a river in the mountains is great. The whole place is just well decorated, it's very warm and inviting. You just like being there.
Basically, if you're on your way back from a hike and need a beer and honestly a great charcuterie board or just looking for a short drive to a great date, this is the place. Just temper any expectations as far as cuisine.
