Beautiful place to go to to see all the views. We drove up to it and saw even more views. It was such an amazing experience. They have very clean bathrooms and it being a two-story building. They do have elevators as well. They have fresh donuts at the top that were pretty good and plenty of places to sit and just look out.
Must place to visit
September 6 2020 went to Pikes Peak in Cascade Colorado
September 16, 2023 got to the top of Pikes Peak and it was super busy with all the hikers and runners who took part in the Pikes Peak Ascent!
September 16, 2023 had a great time with the gals doing the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. We had to take a picture in front of the same sign we took a picture in front of last time. It was cool to see all the runners and hikers finishing their ascent.
Cool place!!
We took the railway up instead of driving, enjoyed the commentary and looking around. We did both have two donuts each. The views were amazing we watched a snowstorm blow in.
Was here in the middle of a Tuesday, the women's restroom was gross with a lot of toilets full of toilet paper that had not been flushed. The locks on the doors don't hold the door, I had some woman try to get into my stall even though my door was shut and locked. The motion sensor faucets didn't work, found one that trickled out some water. No paper towels, and none of the hand dryers worked.
The cafe was nice, you just walk up and get what you want and then go to the cashier, which helps prevent a long line of people trying to decide what they want. The donuts were good, soft, not too sweet.
The views from here are great of course, there are so many spots for photos.
Loved the gift shop! Great day on the mountain.

Amazing views from up here above 14,000 ft. We got caught in a hail storm. The weather can change quickly in this altitude.
Road the cog train up had a great time
A fantastic experience for the views, nice visitor center that explains the history, plus gift shop and café.
It was a nice gift shop but there was an issue when we were there today. We took the train up and when we had to get back to leave we were in line withe ONE cashier! Wondering why there isn’t TWO at all times knowing the trains only get 30 minutes at the summit! Also things seem to be running low and not restocked.
Expect touristy pricing. They don't accept cash. Donuts are great.
