My visit to Ana’s Norwegian Bakeri was great! Having visited Norway years ago, I definitely wanted to sample their tasty treats, and tasty they were. My husband and I sat down to one School Roll and one Boller, which were delicious. The location was a little tricky to find (right next to a Firestone), but the interior atmosphere is unique & lovely! ’ll definitely be back to try a slice of Mormor’s Apple Cake on our next trip to Denver’s DTC area! ?

Went to the newly opened bakeri on the 16th street mall downtown Denver. What a wonderful place! The owner, Anna, was at the store- she is the nicest and friendliest person you can imagine. Had the amazing coffee cake: the coffee flavor is in the frosting, making it perfect for non-coffee drinkers like me. Brought home two cinnamon rolls (which were more like cinnamon loaves as they are so big!), which were the tastiest rolls my husband and I've had in a very long time. The coffee shop is beautifully decorated with a lovely homely ambience. Cannot wait to go back to try the sandwiches and more of these amazing baked creations! Ana's Norwegian Bakeri is a breath of fresh air downtown Denver and without a doubt will be my favorite place for breakfast or lunch.

Great place but hard to find. Also very worth the search for it. Truly Norwegian baked goods and great staff. I even had to send an IM to a coworker from N Dakota that could not find true leftsa in the Denver area.

Stopped at Ana's ahead of a business meeting. I was warmly greeted and knew I had the right decision when I saw what was waiting in the counter window. That was later confirmed as everyone really enjoyed the taste, smell, and texture of the cinnamon, skoll, and pastries I picked up. Stellar and a new favorite when I am in the area.

Firstly, this place is somewhat inconspicuously hidden in the same building as Breaks Plus. As soon as you make that left turn (or right turn) from Yosemite onto Xanthia, make a quick left turn as if to get to Breaks Plus; you will be at the right place!Entrance facing Xanthia is quite small or unnoticeable. On the other side of it (kind of looking over Yosemite) has an outdoor seating area. To cohabit with business like Breaks Plus and something else upstairs (looked like a massage place), in a way, I find this symbiotic arrangement or existence very intriguing to say the least. I bet they enjoy having each other as neighbors!!Well, let's get into the review of this darn cute bakery, shall we??Lovely doesn't describe the whole experience I had yesterday. I was, firstly, warmly welcomed. The lady who greeted (she must be one of the owners) was extremely thorough about explaining everything to me (she asked me how I found them as it's hidden!!) Their cakes (as the same lady explained) are not or never overly sweet (unlike many cakes sold in the regular stores) which I truly appreciate. Whereas I really don't have any knowledge as to what traditional cakes are in Norway, I could sense that everything is made and crafted in the very traditional Norwegian way. And oh my heavens, their portion sizes are huge! Those cinnamon rolls are about the size of small human heads!! And they are priced at $5.25 or somewhere in that neighborhood. This type of generosity is hard to find in this inflation-driven society these days.I got me a piece of coffee cake and a breakfast cookie. And then there was a little surprise! The lady gave me a complimentary Sunshine roll for me to try! This kind of kind gesture should never be taken lightly (so I'm mentioning it in this review!!) Thank you so much!Like the lady said, their cakes are all lightly sweet. And they are dense. I call this guilt-free sweet escape!!I'll definitely go back here very soon. That time, I'll bring my favorite book and have a nice coffee time. This was such an exquisite experience!!

Since I have some Norwegian in me I wanted to try this bakery. A little hard to find but worth the effort. We picked up several items and they all were very good.

This was such a pleasant surprise! Came in next door for a oil change and was surprised with kind people running an incredible bakery. They have such well made baked goods. It's very inspiring to see so much love and focus put into their passion and makes me want to do the same!

This place is incredible. The hype is very real. We happened Ana's by an app, and decided to give it a shot. Everytime we head in we try something different, while still getting some of our familiar favorites. Try everything, you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful little bakery located in the middle of two mechanic shops just off of I24 by Arapahoe road. If you aren't already getting your vehicle serviced or specifically going to Ana's you probably wouldn't ever stumble upon it. Which really is a shame because it is delightful. Despite sitting in the middle of a couple of mechanics garages it was exceptionally clean inside. There are a bunch of small tables and couple of counter spaces to sit at.The Service is outstanding with the person behind the counter taking time to chat with customers and talk about the different pastries that were available. It is clear from the moment you enter that the pastries are delicious. You can tell just by looking at them how scrumptious they are, and there are so many options to choose from. Nothing is overly expensive either. The prices are very good for the quality and size of the treats they serve.TL:DR - Ana's is a wonderful little gem that should get more attention. It is work your stop.

My favorite items are below. Personally fir any bakery items having MOIST and cream filled are important. Less sugar compared to American bakery products. Love supporting small local businesses.Sunshine Rolls/SolskinnsbollerCream Cheese DanishSpinach & Ricotta danishMor's Chocolate Cake

Incredibly delicious baked goods! Owner is so sweet and everything is so fresh. The habanero honey ciabatta was perfectly spicy and sweet. Cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious! It's tucked next to the car shops but easy to see the entrance once you go in the parking lot.

As a native Norwegian this is a little Norway away from home. Authentic Norwegian pastries and breads as well as Scandinavian inspired baked items.Bakery with sit down tables, coffee and baked goods. Highly recommended.
